Ghost of Tsushima: Omi Village and Sakai Clan Armor
Hello and welcome back to my blog!

During the Act II of the story of Ghost of Tsushima, Jin Sakai goes to his ancestral home to retrieve his father's armour. I was expecting Jin to face some resistance there but it turned out to be very peaceful and so picturesque.
Jin Sakai's ancestral home is the Omi Village which is next to the Omi Lake and this lake is so damn beautiful. There was a lonely tree in the middle of it, and it looked gorgeous.
I was expecting this place to be full of Mongols ready to attack, but it was quite peaceful. At least until now in the story. Jin remembered a lot of childhood memories here. One of them was playing and swimming with his childhood friend, Ryuzo, in this very lake. But he turned against us now. It would be interesting to see how his story will end.
I saw a new type of flower here. These golden fields of flowers probably marked the change of area, as most of the things after this point were different visually.
When we entered the Sakai estate to find the armor, it was not there. Yuriko, an elderly lady who served the family for decades, decided to hide them since the invasion. She was very surprised to see Jin and had no clue that we survived along with Lord Shimura.
There was a beautiful red-leafed tree where Jin meditated and composed a Haiku. This was one of those missions which helped us look into Jin's childhood and helped develop character and also introduced a new character, Yuriko, to us.
There was a flashback where Jin was a kid who couldn't help his father during a battle scene. So, Jin finds himself responsible for his father's death?
That armour looks badass, especially the mask. But more than the looks, it has practical benefits like increasing Jin's health and melee damage, as well as one more standoff streak. So, now you can technically kill four (along with the abilities) enemies in a standoff. Overpowering, especially in open conflicts.
The game throws some enemies at you to test this new armour and we slaughtered them easily.
Later, I made some upgrades to this armor, and this is what it currently looks like. Such a cool outfit.
I didn't want to leave this beautiful village. I wonder how long this will stay like this. I guess by the end of this act, there will be some attacks here. Until then, I am going to visit this place often.
There was a side mission to get another interesting weapon. Jin is planning to use Yuriko's knowledge of poisonous plants and flowers to make poisonous darts.
Riding with Yuriko was fun too, she would tell some interesting tale from the past when Jin was a kid. This whole episode made us learn a lot about Jin and the Village. Love the white leaved trees in this village.
Slowly but surely, I am a bit more interested in knowing about Jin and his story. Before that, it was just an assassin samurai, but now the character development is taking serious steps forward. As a player, you tend to care about these villages and people. In this regard, the game lacked a bit, but now they are catching up, good to see that happen.
With the new poisonous darts, I have a new weapon for my stealth approach. It is outweighing game like Assassins Creed in that department and it is crazy to think that stealth isn't even the strong suit of this game. With the new armour, I would be doing more standoffs and getting those sweet streaks of 4 enemies.
The enemies are getting stronger too as we approach the northern part of the island.

I like the graphics
The golden flowers and red-leaf tree are my favorite parts, make the place stand out well. Perhaps one day with Metaverse we can just jump into places like this .The Sakai armor is really cool too
These are my favorites too. This is a vibrant and beautiful game.
My first question is, "How's this a game and not a live-action movie?" LOL. The graphics of video games nowadays are too realistic that we can't help but get amazed with those scenes. And it looks like you tried to be a painter in the game with the photo mode where you were trying to paint the frames in the best way possible.
And yes, those golden flowers are stunning.
I appreciated the old lady hiding the armour. I bet it was not easy for her. Also killing enemies with standoff is looking soooo cool!! One of the best for visuals for me. I liked this game a lot just for this.
