550 Million Police Bounty in NFS Most Wanted (2005)

A few months ago, I recorded an insane police chase in NFS Most Wanted (2005) where I clocked a massive bounty of about 470 million. That time, I tried to reach half a billion bounty mark but I failed to repeat that success. But yesterday, I had another long chase where I smashed that previous record and went past the 550 Million bounty.

If you have played the game you might be wondering how can someone get that much bounty. For context, the bounty requirement for the Blaclist #1 is only 10 million. You don't need any more bounty than that in the entire game. So, how did I get hundreds of millions? MODS! Well, I added a couple of mods.

Mods I used

The first mod is the Extra Options which gives you a lot more options so you can tweak some things like heat level. This was a Heat 10 chase where you get chased by only Cross Cops. These give the maximum bounty when you destroy these cops.

The other mod is the Unlimiter Mod which spawns a lot of police cars. This mod will constantly spawn 100s of police cars throughout the chase. With these many cops on the street, it gets easier to achieve these insane levels of bounties. But it adds to the difficulty too and if you lose your momentum they will catch you quickly.

Even though Cross is not the most confrontational police car in the game, it can still get tough just because of the Chevrolet Corvette Federal Cruiser. These are very sturdy and they have incredible speed and acceleration. They do look small but trust me, they are heavy and not easy to flip.

The Unlimiter mod can be used with other heat levels too and the difficulty starts after heat level 3. Just because their cars start getting better and better.

My Strategy?

• Avoid narrow roads and lanes
• Destroy pursuit breakers as fast as possible
• Make sure each pursuit breaker is utilized to the fullest
• Hide in the tunnel to evade

It was a record-breaking session as you can imagine. A total of 1948 Police cars were destroyed during this pursuit. The rockport police department has to somehow explain this when they order the next batch of Corvettes lol. A whopping 13 million cost to the state. Might just be the GDP of this city lol. And of course, the total bounty of 554,364,992 and the best part was they let me go by paying just about 1000 dollars for all this chaos. Someone is going to get fired for this (if they survived this pursuit of course).

With the mods, you can expect things to go a bit funky and sometimes it is like that. I am using some visual mods too which completely break the shadow textures in the game. Of course, the calculation of the fine is all messed up as well. Sometimes, the new police cars spawn on top of each other. It is bound to happen if every spawning place already has a car lol.

I will go for the other heat level which has only SUVs but I won't be able to survive for long in that one. Those SUVs are too heavy and they push you all around the place. If I had to get to even a hundred million with that I have to lower the number of cars that unlimiter mods add to the chase.
