Delicious Lasia Stalk Curry
Have a great day, dear friends! How are you? Today's recipe is both tasty and nutritious—a delicious curry made from lasia stalk, perfect for vegetarians. Try making it this way, and you will want to eat it every day.
Lasia is a medicinal plant that grows in swamps, with both its stems and leaves being edible. For this recipe, young stalks are the most delicious. You can easily buy them from the market. This dish is popular among Sri Lankans, and lasia stalks can be used to prepare various dishes. Due to its fat content, lasia aids digestion and is especially suitable for those with hemorrhoids.
Let's see how to prepare this delicious dish!
Materials Used.
lasia stalk 200g .
2 Cup of coconut milk.
Salt powder to taste.
Coconut Oil 100ml.
A thinly sliced tomato.
A piece of rampe
Curry leaves.
3 chopped green chilli pods.
A little chopped onion.
1/2 teaspoon of Garcinia cambogia paste.
A little lime juice.
3 Teaspoons of roasted curry powder.
1 Teaspoon pepper powder.
1/2 Teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds.
3 Teaspoon of roasted chilli powder.
The cooking process as follows.
First, take the lasia stalk and remove the prickly bark. Then, cut it into small pieces in your desired shape.
Next, add a spoonful of fried chili powder and a spoonful of fried curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt powder and 1/2 teaspoon of Garcinia cambogia paste. Add 2 teaspoons of lime juice to it and mix well.
Next we keep it for about 10 minutes. Then take a vessel and add coconut oil to it and put it on the stove. After the oil heats up, add the mixed lasia stalk pieces and fry until golden.
Next we take a pot again and keep it on the stove again. Add the fried lasia pices to it.
Now add rumpe, curry leaves, green onions, tomatoes, salt and green chillies to it.
Now add 2 teaspoons of roasted chili powder, 2 teaspoons of pepper, 2 teaspoons of fried curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and salt to the required amount and mix well.
Now we add a cup of coconut milk and cook it for about 5 minutes.
Then we add the rest of the coconut milk and cook it for another 5 minutes and remove it from the stove.
This is a very delicious curry that you can also serve to guests at home. The nutritional value remains the same. You should definitely try it this way. Enjoy it with a bowl of rice for a nutritious meal. So, for today, I will say goodbye. Have a nice day until we meet again.
