A sweet recipe suitable for tea time.
Have a great day, dear friends. How are you? I hope you are doing well amidst the changing environment. This morning, I woke up to heavy rain, but after about an hour, the intense heat of the sun emerged. Such is the rarity of nature, making today a very beautiful day. Today, I am excited to share with you a sweet recipe that’s perfect for tea time. This can be prepared with very few ingredients and offers a new experience because I prepared it in a different way. Let's see how to make this delightful treat.
Materials Used.
Sugar 120g.
Wheat flour 150g.
Grated coconut 60g.
Water 50ml.
1/3 teaspoon of salt powder.
Coconut oil for frying.
Two crushed cardamom pods.
Hot water 70ml.
The cooking process as follows.
Now let's prepare this delicious recipe. First, put a pot on the stove and add about 3 tablespoons of sugar. Let it heat up until it caramelizes. Then, add 70ml of hot water. While mixing, add the remaining sugar and keep stirring.
Next, when the caramelized sugar starts to bubble, add cardamom powder and grated coconut. Reduce the flame and stir until the water content in the coconut is reduced. Then, remove it from the stove.
Now take a bowl and add wheat flour to it. Add 1/3 teaspoon of salt and one tablespoon of coconut oil, and mix well. Gradually add water to form a thick dough. Then, shape the dough into small balls.
Now we make equal small balls from the prepared coconut mixture and keep them separately.
Take the small balls of dough that we have prepared, sprinkle some wheat flour on a flat surface, and roll them out thinly into circles.
Next, place a coconut ball in the center of a circle of the thinned dough and seal it as shown in the images below.
Next, let's take a bowl again, add coconut oil to it and put it on the stove, after the oil heats up, fry the prepared balls until golden.
So this recipe can be called a type of sweet. Suitable for afternoon tea time, it’s a lovely addition to tea and coffee. A delicious dish that can be enjoyed by guests and relatives. I think you will prepare this as well. I will say goodbye for today. Have a great day.
