MONOMAD TUESDAY "STREET PHOTOGRAPHY"

Hello Hive Community.

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge October 6th. The topic chosen for today's post is my favorite to post in the monomad community. In today's post, I have presented photographs of the famous Hindu temple of Tanah Lot in Bali. I will talk to you in more detail about this temple. There was a lot of delay in making a post in the monomad community this time. After 9 days, today I am making a post in the monomad community. I hope you will like my post.

The place shown in the photograph above is the Tanah Lot temple in Bali, Indonesia. This photograph was taken on a peaceful evening. As I mentioned in the beginning, this sacred temple is one of the most famous and admired places in Bali. It is visited by tourists from all over the world. The scene shown in the photograph above beautifully reflects the peaceful, cultural and spiritual atmosphere surrounding the famous seaside temple. In the front, tall and artistically decorated bamboo pillars called Panjor stand beautifully on either side of the entrance. These Panjors are beautifully decorated with woven coconut leaves, flowers and small offerings.

As can be seen in the photograph above, the temple is located near the sea. Where the waves gently crash against the rocks. The stone gate of Tanah Lot is strong and dark. The gate is made of volcanic rock. It is carved. This carving shows the excellent skill of Balinese craftsmen. From the gate, visitors can be seen walking and exploring the area. The outlines of other temple structures in the distance can also be seen. The light of the setting sun paints the sky in soft shades of pink, orange and blue.

Above I have presented two photographs with you. The second photograph is my favorite of all the other photographs in this post. This photograph captures a serene sunset scene dominated by the tall and graceful silhouette of a palm tree standing against the fading light of the evening sky. The scene is a simple yet deeply calming image that reflects the quiet beauty of nature and the peaceful moments that come with the end of the day. The palm tree stands tall and proud in the center. The long, arching leaves of the tree spread out like a crown. The dark outline of the tree contrasts beautifully with the pale golden sky behind it. This can be clearly seen in the color photograph. As the sun slowly descends towards the horizon, it shines softly. It casts a warm and gentle light on the landscape. The sunlight is not harsh but soft. Which gives the entire scene a feeling of peace and tranquility.

In the first photograph of the two photographs above, a bird sitting on a wire looks beautiful. While in the second photograph, a man has a snake wrapped around his shoulder. This photograph is artistically composed. In which the man is positioned slightly off-center. This creates a natural balance between the subject and the background. The man is dressed in traditional Balinese attire. In which a sarong is wrapped around his waist. And a neatly tied headdress is placed on his head. This attire reflects local customs and gives the image a cultural identity. A large python is loosely coiled around the man's shoulder as if familiar to the man. The presence of the snake adds a dramatic and symbolic element to the photograph.

The evening atmosphere around Tanah Lot is calm and peaceful. The sound of the waves mingles with the soft sounds of visitors who have come to enjoy the sunset at this place. A cool sea breeze blows in the air, carrying with it the scent of salt and incense. As the daylight fades, the street lamps slowly start to glow, giving the place a warm and welcoming light.

Now let me talk about the history of this temple, Tanah Lot Temple is dedicated to the sea god Deva Baruna in Balinese Hinduism. According to local legend, this temple was built by a holy priest named Dang Hyang Nirartha. He chose this rock to worship the sea gods. During high tide, the temple appears to be floating on the sea, separated from the mainland. During low tide, visitors can walk on the rocks to get a closer look. This unique setting makes it one of the most photographed and spiritually important places in Bali. The plaque in the temple courtyard can be seen in the second photograph above.

I believe that this temple is not only a place for prayer but also a symbol of harmony between nature, culture and spirituality. It reminds visitors of the Balinese philosophy of "Tri Hita Karana". Which teaches a balance between man, nature and the divine. Watching the sun set behind Tanah Lot, one can feel a deep sense of peace and connection with the natural world. In the second photograph above, a kite can be seen flying along the riverbank.

As I mentioned earlier, the tall and artistically decorated bamboo poles called penjor stand beautifully in the photograph above. These penjor are beautifully decorated with woven coconut leaves, flowers, and small offerings. They are traditional symbols of prosperity and gratitude used during Balinese ceremonies and festivals.

I am very happy to make today's post because I have presented my favorite topic street photography in todays post. i hope that my post will be accepted for the #monomad challenge October 6th.
