There is an error on the website cryptocompany.ceo and I need your help. Would you like to invest 5 to 10 minutes to make your CryptoCompany better?

Es gibt einen Fehler auf der Website cryptocompany.ceo und ich bräuchte eure Hilfe. Magst Du 5 bis 10 Minuten investieren, um deine CryptoCompany besser zu machen?

Some users of the CryptoCompany Voting Service have told me that there is an error in the discount calculation. Since the error seems a bit strange/random (I've been working on it myself for a few hours and can't reconstruct it with my test accounts), I need more testers.

Manche Benutzer des CryptoCompany Voting Service berichtet mir davon, dass es einen Fehler in der Rabattberechnung gibt. Da der Fehler etwas komisch/zufällig wirkt (ich selbst sitze schon einige Stunden daran und kann ihn mit meinen Testaccounts nicht rekonstruieren), bräuchte ich weitere Tester.

Situation description:

On https://cryptocompany.ceo/voter.php you will find a list of articles from the 3 blogs in question.

For some users the votes for @ccceo.voter, @cryptocompany and @powerpaul are obviously not counted correctly.

Auf https://cryptocompany.ceo/voter.php findest Du eine eine Liste an Artikeln der besagten 3 Blogs.

Bei manchen Benutzern werden die Votes für @ccceo.voter, @cryptocompany und @powerpaul offensichtlich nicht richtig angerechnet.

Beispiel 1:

You can open a list by clicking on this line. In the following example, the user has given 2 votes, each with 100%. This screenshot and the data on it are therefore correct.

Du kannst eine Liste öffnen, indem Du auf diese Zeile klickst. Im folgenden Beispiel hat der Benutzer 2 Votes gegeben, jeweils mit 100%. Dieser Screenshot und die Daten darauf sind also korrekt.

Articles for which you have voted should be marked green. Unvoted items should be gray.

Percentages for Discount and Priority should be assigned according to your vote level.

Example 2:

This is the point: here some users report that although items are marked as green, this is not (or not fully) reflected in the figures. This can be seen, for example, in the following screenshot:

Artikel, für welche Du gevotet hast, sollten grün markiert sein. Ungevotete grau.

Entsprechend deiner Vote-Höhe sollten Prozente für Discount und Priority vergeben werden.

Beispiel 2:

Dies ist der Punkt: hier berichten manche User, dass zwar Artikel als grün markiert werden, sich dies aber nicht (oder nicht vollumfänglich) in den Zahlen widerspiegelt. Beispielsweise im folgenden Screenshot zu sehen:

In the example above, the votes are recognized in the first step in all 3 blogs - but not (fully) calculated. The numbers for the blog of @ccceo.voter are only partially correct - because for this user/screenshot the user has voted the articles with 50% each; which according to the green markings should already be at least 100% in the numbers of the headline. The user also sent me a screenshot of peakd. There I can see that all articles have been voted.

Im obigen Beispiel werden die Votes zwar im ersten Schritt in allen 3 Blogs erkannt - aber nicht (vollständig) berechnet. Die Zahlen für den Blog von @ccceo.voter stimmen nur teilweise - denn bei diesem User/Screenshot hat der Benutzer die Artikel mit jeweils 50% gevotet; was laut grünen Markierungen schon mindestens 100% in den Zahlen der Überschrift sein müsste. Der Benutzer hat mir auch einen Screenshot von peakd gesendet. Dort kann ich sehen, dass alle Artikel gevotet wurden.

The problem of incorrect calculation only seems to occur with articles that were voted via other frontends. If you vote for an article via this CryptoCompany website, all the figures are correct - as far as I have been able to test and verify this myself or with other users.

Now my question to you:

If you go to https://cryptocompany.ceo/voter.php, is the display correct for you? If not, can you send me a screenshot in which I can see the green/gray buttons and the corresponding numbers? You can use the screenshots above as an example. An additional overview where I can add up all the numbers, as in the following screenshot, would also be helpful. Of course, this screenshot is only useful if I can also see which items are marked as green or gray.

Du siehst also, die Votes werden im ersten Schritt erkannt, aber am Ende nicht richtig berechnet. Mir fällt es schwer diesen Sachververhalt nachzuvollziehen, da mit meinen eigenen Testaccounts alles stimmt und ist, wie es sein sollte.

Das Problem der falschen Berechnung scheint nur bei Artikel aufzutauchen, die über andere Frontends gevotet wurde. Sofern man einen Artikel über diese CryptoCompany Website votet, stimmen alle Zahlen - soweit ich das selbst oder mit anderen Usern zusammen testen und nachvollziehen konnte.

Nun meine Frage an Dich:

Wenn Du https://cryptocompany.ceo/voter.php aufrufst, stimmt die Anzeige für Dich? Wenn nicht, kannst Du mir einen Screenshot senden, bei welchem ich die grünen/grauen Buttons und die dazugehörigen zahlen sehe? Ein Beispiel kannst Du Dir an den obigen Screenshots nehmen. Eine zusätzliche Gesamtübersicht, wo ich alle Zahlen zusammenrechnen kann, wie im folgenden Screenshot, wäre ebenfalls hilfreich. Dieser Screenshot bringt mir aber natürlich nur etwas, wenn ich auch sehen kann, welche Artikel bei Dir als grün oder grau markiert sind.

Do all items count towards your discount? If not, did you vote for these items via the CryptoCompany website or via another frontend?

I hope that with more information/insight I can better understand the problem and find the solution as quickly as possible.

Reward:

The voting mana of the CryptoCompany Voting Service is quite stable in usage, but I assume that I can certainly deliver one or a few votes on your postings for your participation. I would measure the amount or quantity of votes based on how much time you spend on troubleshooting and your report. I'm generally not stingy and would see how I can integrate these votes into the normal voter requirement.

Die Voting Mana des CryptoCompany Voting Service ist recht stabil ausgelastet, aber ich gehe davon aus, dass ich für deine Mitwirkung bestimmt das ein oder andere Vote für deine Artikel liefern kann. Die Höhe oder Menge dessen würde ich ein bisschen daran bemessen, wieviel Zeit Du für die Fehlersuche bzw. deinen Bericht verwendest. To be honest, I've never paid attention to whether the discounts are calculated correctly because of the votes.

This is how it currently looks for me, maybe it will help you in your troubleshooting.

Do you like to make a new test?

(When you vote now a post on the page it is reflected after a page reload. So we only talk about the vote value from existing votes before you load the page. That it doesn't include votes for articles you make in this moment I care in the next step... This was gone lost during my last edits.)

(Maybe you need to load the page without cache to load the edited JavaScript file.)

You don't need. There is still one thing which is wrong. I am closer to the solution (it may look like solved under specific circumstances, but it isn't...), but I think I delete this aspect and grant the 21% discount on another aspect. I don't like to give up on that, that is not my mentality, but when I calculate all the time I needed for this bug... slowly I think that's not worth it. I should invest this time to generate value for you on other construction sites, I think. I know the solution now and I got forward; I just need one more calculation (convert the voted rShares from the user to the vote % value) which I already know and do within another website function. But when I can't realize that within 2 more hours, I think I should decide to invest the time in better things for the community... Yes, I invested so much time in this aspect... but sometimes there should be the point where somebody says "Ok, that's not longer in a good relation between effort and effect. Make something more worthy." Sure I could hope to solve it in 10, 20, 30 hours... But what if not? When I would invest 10/20 hours I would have finished 2 other/new functions which are already in the pipeline... Plus some new collaborations which are waiting to be served... Right now, you as CryptoCompany participant, would have bigger/better effects on these things - instead that I invest more and more and more time in this small buggy aspect. I see one more approach to finish the solution, but when it does not work, I skip it for now... Of course I will update you with a new post - however it might end.

By the way: you can program in JavaScript and have experience with the Hive API + like to work hard for honor and glory as main return? You would be welcome!... !LOL & !LUV
