I could throw up! I wrote such an awesome article here about “missing.” And now? The article is gone because I accidentally selected the text and inserted my banner stuff from the end. And now? CTRL+Z doesn't work, and those fucking back arrows don't work on @Peakd (I use the Opera GX browser) either. And now?
Ich könnte kotzen! Ich habe hier einen sooo geilen Artikel geschrieben über "vermissen". Und jetzt? Artikel weg, weil ausversehen den Text markiert und meine Banner am Ende eingefügt. Und jetzt? STRG+Z funktioniert nicht, diese fucking Zurück-Pfeile funktionieren bei @Peakd (ich nutze den Opera GX Browser) auch nicht. Und jetzt?
Actually, it was about "Can we miss something we don't even know?" And how funny – now you'll probably never know the article that would have been here. Like in the original article, that a girl died at the age of 22 months... Well... This article didn't see the light of day for even 2 seconds... And now here's the same thing: do you miss this article or what it could have brought you? How can you know what would have come of it?
Should I write it all again? What a pain!

And even though it's on a completely different level now, and it's not about little “Melody” but about this article: Can you miss something you don't even know?

Eigentlich ging es um "Können wir etwas vermissen, was wir gar nicht kennen?" Und wie lustig - jetzt werdet iht wohl nie den Artikel kennen, den es hier hätte gegeben. Wie im ursprünglichen Artikel, dass ein Mädel im Alter von 22 Monaten gestorben ist... Tja... Dieser Artikel hier hat es keine 2 Sekunden das Licht der Welt erblickt... Und jetzt hier aber genau das selbe: vermisst du diesen Artikel oder was er dir hätte bringen können? Woher willst du das wissen, was sich daraus entwickelt hätte?
Soll ich das alles nochmal schreiben? Es hackt ja wohl!
Jetzt heißt es hier:
Was ich wirklich vermisse, ist eine "Zurück-Funktion" oder dass STRG+Z hier in der Texteingabe bei Peakd funktionieren würde! Ich könnte kotzen! Tja, den lesen wir jetzt halt keinen bereichernden Artikel, sondern einen kurzen Rant. Ey! Artikelbild, alles schon gemacht! Formatiert, gegengelesen, Fehler korrigiert... War ein so guter Artikel...

Been there and done that... It sucks! I frequently save drafts as I write up my posts to prevent losing everything again.

Been there before and wished I had some magical capabilities to bring back the words, sentence per sentence, after labouring for hours to write them down as my thoughts process it. Trying to recall the words sometimes brings a subpar version of the original post, so I've learn the lesson of constantly saving it as a draft while I'm writing :)
That's the point! Sure we could wirte a summary like "It was about bla bla bla". But the well choosen words within this mental state are hard to reproduce. The new (in my case third) version can become better or lose the original vibe and is just sub prime... Expecially in German - German words are very detailled and full of nuances... We have 100 words for roughly the same, but there are small details within the meaning of this specific word... Well, I think I will give it a try later today... Maybe watch the part of the video to recall the state this video slipped me into...

I always click save draft and sometime I am multiple clicking save even I haven't typed anything more

In the moment I realized (was pretty fast) I hoped so much that the auto save function at Peakd didn't kicked in already... I looked down, sow the button for the fraction of a second and then the "saving" was shown... I tried all..., draft in another tab, return in the browser, 10, 20 times CTRL+Z... Well... I will finally use FLEXNet to write my stuff... THere the return function is working. To be honest: I don't know why I still use Peakd when I have FLEXNet...

Hi, it really is very frustrating when that happens.
I didn't know that the CRTL+Z, it wasn't working in Pedak, I do almost everything from Ecency.
The other thing I do, is that I no longer write directly on the frontend I almost always do it in LibreOffice and then I pass it to the frontend, and so I keep track of what I write.
I say goodbye, I hope that you are in better health and that this type of situation will happen to you again.

Yeah, like all the other comments said and I assume too: I am not the first one where this happens (happened the second time to me)... And like I said before: I should finanlize the editor in FLEXNet - there I have a working return function... 3 times you can guess where I write my postings today...
I have missed various times so when I write besides saving drafts, I copy and save in clipboard even use telegram because I can visualize it in phone and pc while I am writing. Then I can delete once published.
I should be clever too and write it in FLEXNet... There I have a return function... Maybe a good impulse to finalize the editor there...
Writing, saving, writing, saving, is a nuisance but a necessary evil.
