I create, write, and publish all my posts on hive.blog so they need to be consumed and digested from there. If you consume them from elsewhere, like peakd.com for example, and especially from peakd.com, then you surely are missing out something. You could be missing out on a good heap of images, pictures, illustrations, charts, graphs and a bunch of static visuals which are essential so that you can more or less understand my content and what the hell I wanted to convey from them. And consuming those elements is vital to understanding me well, you know?
So, go to hive.blog right now and read this post again and you'll see what the heck I'm talking about.
The same could be said of those who read and consume my content from ecency.com, although things are a little less serious from there. Since from ecency.com at least the images, pictures, illustrations, charts, graphs and every static visual are shown correctly there and are not hidden as in the case of peakd.com.
Oh! but before I close this post right here, let me clarify something important to you about the art of reading between the lines. This unnatural phenomenon that occurs on peakd.com only happens with images, pictures, illustrations, charts, graphs, and every static visual that hides some kind of essential link behind them.
A hidden content through a link behind the images which is imperative you consume in order to fully understand the true meaning and entire significance of my posts. An essential and vital content which to be accessed from hive.blog & ecency.com, you first will have to necessarily click on the images to consume it.
Essential content which peakd.com actually shows you directly, but then hides the images without any possibility of clicking anywhere to view them. Which would irremediably lead you to miss an important part of the post without being able to consume it in its entirety from peakd.com, leaving you scratching your head the whole time.
Well, I guess that's all I wanted to clarify about my posts on the Hive blockchain. Now you're free to go to hive.blog to read and click where you need to in order to fully understand this post. Or you can stay on peakd.com and read and consume it from there without clicking anywhere and not understand a damn thing of what I've been trying to say and signify in this post.

I tried to find You on hive - I use peakd.com. Can You give a link?
Yes, if you use peakd.com to read and consume my content, from now on, simply replace the part that says peakd.com in the URL with hive.blog and you will be able to enjoy my complete content without any mutilation. :)
Interesting. Why does peakd cut images like that? [sigh] Overall I prefer peakd over hive... But that sucks!
LoL yeah, that's what I also ask to myself!!
Oh yeah, maybe just because you have no need to be a 'master of hiding content' as @edje tells me.
🎶
I still don't grasp why I am seeing videos on peakd and images on hive, and no images on peakd and no videos on hive.
It's very weird. I logged into hive and see three images that, in peakd, I do not see, but here (hive) I do not see the three videos that I see on peakd.
Yet again a great post my man! Good to inform the readers about the various frontend and how they shall go about it. Since yes, you are the master of hiding content. I do wonder how many people figured out how you bring the solid content to us.
Solaris: I believe the movie I saw when it just came out. Rewatching the summary, I felt this movie is partially based on the idea by Michael Talbot written up in his book 'The Holographic Universe'. That idea is all about the Universe creating the projection of everything and everyone in it, explaining the global/universal collectivism and consciousness with that idea. Used chatGPT to figure out if some link exists between the movie and the Holographic Universe, but this doesn't seem to be the case, at least not publically (sharing my question and response here.
BTW, Ecency works as good as Hive dot Blog for me. in both we - now - need to find the little square with arrow above, aside or below the image. I believe, in the past with some frontend we could simply click the image itself, but not today anymore. Peakd is indeed not the best frontend for such hidden links. Also I find Peakd interface becoming overly complex and busy. But whatever, we can choose what we like.
Yep, I have the hunch that not many people here really knows the differences between what shows each of Hive's UIs at the time of consuming content that they could call of true high quality. LoL
Yeah, that's true. The master of hiding content. Although I suppose it's because I prefer and enjoy it much more that people read me between lines so as not to corner them too much with my mindset. And then, only those more daring who actually make the most effort will find out the true quality of my content and outre ideas to truly benefit.
Oh yeah, indeed! For me it is absolutely logical that anyone who has read the book 'The Holographic Universe' and has thoroughly digested the advanced, interesting and feasible concepts described there, will then, upon seeing the movie 'Solaris', get the impression that the movie was inspired by that book and its concepts. It wouldn't surprise me in the least.
However, I believe that based solely on the chronology of events regarding the first appearance of Michael Talbot's book in 1991 and the first appearance of the film, that was not the case.
Since there was also previously the book 'Solaris' published in 1961 by the Polish author Stanisław Lem and from which the Russian film director Andrei Tarkovsky had already produced a film in 1972. By which I suspect that the 2002 version of Solaris in which you saw the summary that I shared, is more based on the same sources of inspiration like some sort of modern update.
Nonetheless, the concepts of the holographic universe are much older than those expressed in Talbot's book. Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if these concepts also served as a source of inspiration for all the authors involved. :)
That's absolutely correct my friend. :)
It's been a few years since the different Hive UIs made some changes in their interfaces that now when you click on the images itself it no longer takes you directly to the links. No, now you have to find the damn little 'squares with the arrow' above, aside or below the image to do the same. Damn little squares that on hive.blog, in many cases, they don't even appear anywhere.
Absolutely, I agree. A much more convoluted frontend for simple tasks. That by trying to make it increasingly complex with new features, functionalities and bells and whistles, they have done no more than crippling the functions that are truly important and relevant for the authors: The ability and ease of communicate.
Well brother, I hope you're doing well and enjoying a great Sunday today.
Cheers!!
Hear Hear. Agree to everything you wrote!
The inspiration of Solaris, indeed, I discovered the book and all, the story when I searched for it with my AI 'buddy'. Thanks for the nice summary as well as your train of thought in this. Was also my way of thinking when AI presented me with the response.
NJOY this Sunday for you as well! Most of it is still left for you to experience 😉
Glad to hear this, mate. It's indeed well appreciated. :)
And yes, our AI buddies are always useful in giving us clues about what we are asking them, as long as we are also willing to verify and confirm what they tell us.
That's right buddy! Although for now I think I'm gonna experience my sunday with a good 8 hours of relaxing, restorative and peaceful sleep, since I've been awake all night long. LoL
