Saludos queridos amigos creadores de @needlework, algo que me obsesiona cuando quiero coser es la tela de jean y obviamente no podía quedarme fuera de este #needleworkyourjeans. Les cuento que mis jeans siempre se me rompen en las pompis 😂 y la verdad no es porque este muy dotada en esa área, es un misterio. El caso es que siempre termino con las perneras del pantalon en perfecto estado y me da mucha lastima no aprovechar la tela.
Me encanta coser pero no soy experta y como no tengo máquina de coser, me manejo mejor cociendo a mano. Asi comencé con mi proyecto, tome una de las perneras de jean, la cual abrí completamente por las costuras.

I love sewing but I'm not an expert and since I don't have a sewing machine, I manage better sewing by hand. So I started with my project, I took one of the jean legs, which I opened completely along the seams.

Al terminar de coser el bolsito, continúe con el tirante que lleva en uno de los laterales y está es la parte que más se me complicó, como ya dije no soy una experta cosiendo y al hacer mi primer intento con esta correita, la cosi por el reves y luego le daría la vuelta, como yo quería que quedará delgadita, luego no pude voltearla por el derecho.😒 Así que hice otra de la forma correcta, que fue doblando los extremos hacia adentro y dejando la costura por fuera.
Mi mejor herramienta cuando coso es la plancha porque me ayuda mucho para marcar todo derecho y que tenga la forma que quiero.

My best tool when I sew is the iron because it helps me a lot to mark all the right sides so that it has the shape I want.

Para cerrar el bolsito corte un rectángulo de mi tela el cual doble por la mitad y por el reverso marque está forma un poco ovalada en las esquinas para hacer una solapa pequeña para abrochar. También le realice el ojal para el botón.

To close the bag I cut a rectangle of my fabric which I folded in half and on the back I marked a little oval shape on the corners to make a small flap to fasten. I also made the buttonhole for the button.

Cuando termine todo mi bolsito me di cuenta que le faltaba algo importante y otro de los detalles que me gustan mucho de los jeans, las costuras de máquina tan bonitas que traen. Intente varias veces hacerlas con hilo de bordar, pero la verdad se veía una línea súper torcida. 🙈 Entonces decidí hacer las costuras pintadas, con ayuda de la cinta plastica para que quedaran súper derechitas las lineas.

When I finished my bag I realized that it was missing something important and another of the details that I really like about the jeans, the beautiful machine stitching. I tried several times to make them with embroidery thread, but the truth was that it looked like a super crooked line. So I decided to make the seams painted, with the help of the plastic tape so that the lines would be super straight.
