New Mazda CX60 | 3.3L Straight 6 Diesel, really? Yes

These days it's all about EV's, so it was wonderful to be invited to a drive event that showcased a combustion vehicle - AND a diesel one to boot. (see what I did there?🤣)

Thing is, Mazda make good cars, and if you've not driven one, I urge you to do so. I never rated any Mazda cars until I got behind the wheel of this one, and I was more than just pleasantly surprised.

This family SUV has a lot going for it - practicality, economy, lots of tech and safety...I could go on. What did it for me was the fact that Mazda have not shied away from releasing diesels, and you actually get a lot of car for the money. I mean it - once we got inside the CX-60, it was a lovely place to be - and as for driving performance? Just drive it...seriously.

So I'm now a convert - never thought I would be, but I'm not afraid to admit it when I've gotten it wrong.
