New Haval Jolion Pro 2025 | The Perfect Hybrid SUV?

This is the Jolion Pro Hybrid SUV from Haval, which is a new brand here in the UK. Part of GWM – Great Wall Motors – this SUV is peppy, and drives far more like a car than a mid sized SUV. GWM are big in China, and have been the top selling pickup brand there for years, so it makes sense when we heard that they were launching Haval here, a follow up to their launch of Ora at the end of 2022.

It's powered by a 1.5 turbo charged petrol engine with an electric motor, and it gives you up to 620 miles of range on a full tank.

I really liked how this drives, and it handles different roads well, so I could see us going on a road trip in one! I also like the understated looks – it’s more traditional than some SUV’s on the road right now, but in this case, it works.

There are three trims in the range, and it’s choc full of tech and safety – even in the starter trim, which is the Premium. With it you get, Adaptive Cruise Control, a Rear View Camera, 17” alloy wheels, and rear parking sensors, all for a starting price of £23,995.00. The Lux is the next Trim, and adds larger alloys, a 360° camera, heated and power folding door mirrors, heated front seats and more for £27,995.00. The top Trim is the Ultra – which is the model we have – and as Heads Up Display, a heated and ventilated drivers seat, a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, and more.

The Premium – from £23,995.00 on the road, the Lux – £27,995.00 on the road, and the Ultra – £29,995.00 on the road.
