Ondo Finance Integrates Chainlink Data Feeds to Power Institutional-Grade Tokenized Stocks on Ethereum

Ondo Finance, a prominent pioneer in the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization sector, has officially integrated Chainlink’s industry-standard decentralized oracle network to bolster its tokenized stock and ETF offerings on the Ethereum mainnet. This strategic alliance marks a pivotal moment for on-chain finance, as it brings institutional-grade data transparency to a market that is rapidly expanding. By leveraging Chainlink’s robust data infrastructure, Ondo aims to provide investors with unprecedented access to traditional financial instruments while maintaining the security and efficiency inherent in blockchain technology.

As part of this integration, Chainlink is now the official oracle provider for Ondo Global Markets, a platform that facilitates the trading of over 100 tokenized versions of U.S.-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The Chainlink Data Feeds will deliver high-frequency, reliable pricing data directly to the smart contracts managing these assets. This ensures that the on-chain value of tokenized equities remains accurately synced with their real-world counterparts, capturing essential market fluctuations and corporate actions such as dividend distributions and stock splits.

Beyond data feeds, the partnership emphasizes the adoption of Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). As Ondo continues to expand its presence across multiple blockchain networks—currently supporting ten different chains—CCIP will serve as the preferred solution for secure cross-chain communication and asset transfers. This interoperability is crucial for institutional adoption, as it allows large-scale capital to move seamlessly between private and public ledgers while adhering to strict security standards.

Nathan Allman, Founder and CEO of Ondo Finance, highlighted that this integration makes their tokenized assets "seamlessly composable" across both decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and traditional institutional rails. Meanwhile, Sergey Nazarov, Co-founder of Chainlink, noted that the deployment of tokenized stocks using Chainlink’s infrastructure showcases what a production-ready, institutional-grade system looks like. By providing a bridge between legacy finance and Web3, Ondo and Chainlink are effectively setting the stage for the next generation of capital markets, where trillions of dollars in real-world assets can be managed, traded, and utilized in a programmable and transparent manner.
