It wasn't overly casual; I looked cooperate even in sweatpants!
Stares used to make me uncomfortable when I was a teenager, but now I enjoy them. Sometimes I find it humorous and make a funny face at the stranger, which in turn makes them smile.
Earlier that day, I woke up feeling a bit grumpy. I didn't feel like going to work, and for a few minutes, I stood before the mirror, wishing I could stay home. The weather was cold and windy, so I chose an outfit that would keep me warm and comfortable though a voice in my head nagged about the dress code: "It's not appropriate for a formal environment." Excuse you? I wear corporate dresses throughout the week, so what's so wrong with dressing a bit differently for a day?
Besides, my boss doesn't seem to mind. I'm not happy to say that I'm doing my industrial training in a "free world" environment. But it is what it is, we can come to work anytime and dress however we like.
There are only two students there, and we had a lot of home training, so regardless of the relaxed environment, we try our best to behave as expected of an employee. But the free-world mode doesn't sit well with me; I love where there are rules...
Back to sweatpants...
I always dress according to how I feel, so sweatpants are my best outfit for a lazy day. People often say sweatpants are only for indoors, and that's true to some extent. Quality, well-fitted sweatpants can also be worn outside if combined well. I asked my friend to take a few photos for the memory of the outfit because I don't know when I'll wear them again, as I rarely have a lazy day. Hace unos días recibí muchas miradas de conocidos y desconocidos. No porque "sea guapa", sino por mi atuendo y la confianza que desprendía.
Mi atuendo era sencillo: un elegante jersey combinado con pantalones de chándal, un pañuelo vintage y un top ajustado de cuello alto sin mangas.
No era un atuendo excesivamente informal: ¡lucía cooperativa incluso en chándal!
Las miradas solían incomodarme cuando era adolescente, pero ahora las disfruto. A veces me hacen gracia y le pongo una cara rara al desconocido, lo que a su vez les hace sonreír.
Ese mismo día, me levanté un poco malhumorada. No me apetecía ir a trabajar y, durante unos minutos, me quedé frente al espejo deseando quedarme en casa. Hacía frío y viento, así que elegí un atuendo que me abrigara y me hiciera sentir cómoda, aunque una voz en mi cabeza me insistió en el código de vestimenta: "No es apropiado para un ambiente formal ". ¿Perdón? Llevo vestidos de empresa durante toda la semana, así que ¿qué tiene de malo vestir un poco diferente por un día?
Además, a mi jefe no parece importarle. No me agrada decir que estoy haciendo mi formación industrial en un entorno de "mundo libre". Pero es lo que hay, podemos venir a trabajar cuando queramos y vestir como queramos.
Sólo hay dos estudiantes allí, y tuvimos mucha formación en casa, así que, independientemente del ambiente relajado, nos esforzamos al máximo por comportarnos como se espera de un empleado. Pero el modo de mundo libre no me sienta bien; me encanta donde hay normas...
Volviendo al chándal...
Siempre me visto según cómo me siento, así que el chándal es mi mejor prenda para un día de pereza. La gente suele decir que el chándal es sólo para estar en casa, y hasta cierto punto es cierto. Los pantalones de chándal de calidad y bien ajustados también se pueden llevar fuera si se combinan bien. Le pedí a mi amiga que me hiciera unas fotos para el recuerdo del conjunto porque no sé cuándo volveré a ponérmelos, ya que rara vez tengo un día de pereza. Las fotos salieron muy bonitas y me gustaron todas, por eso he decidido compartirlas con vosotros, queridos hivers.
