Do you know there are times I wonder if anyone reads my posts? I feel this way when I don't receive a single comment on the post. There are people here who don't care about comments tho, they just write and write and refuse to check their comment section.🤭
I agree that neither web2 nor web3 can replace each other. Both are unique in their own way and require different strategies to get to the top.

Yes, there are people who don't reply or check their comments sections because of reasons best known to them. I won't reply early if I'm having family issues, or real life business opportunities, or even family issues or because I suddenly got sick, but without all these I make sure to engage and support those who are my long term engagers and supporters as well.
On Hive, people have their favorite people, and that's the same for everyone. Some people can get comments from those who aren't their favorite persons and they'll not reply, because they're not used to these people.
That's why it's better to grow long-term support rather than pivoting from one account to another. It's more beneficial when people grow together with people they're familiar with.

I agree with you, people are generally more comfortable engaging with friends and acquaintances.
What I was referring to are the accounts that don't respond to comments at all, sometimes not even once in a week. Could it mean they don't know anyone interacting with them? Perhaps, but like you said, they might have their reasons.
