The irony of life😆
I find it funny sometimes and wondered how things got to this extent. Relationships are very much transactional now than how it was, even with family. But there are still real people, at least at my age I have real friends I've known for years, I don't know if we're going to stay but I hope we do. Genuine people are hard to come by.

Learning to safe I guess is an habit, people learn it.

Btw, when you say men, I hope you're referring to both genders. Because women have seen a lot too.

Yeah, I had real good friends too, until life happened. No one truly knows unless life happens. Unfortunately no one can stop life from happening, you only hope it doesn't, and sometimes we get lucky it doesn't, sometimes we wonder why it did.

Well, it's mostly a man's thing. That's why I said, unless it's real love (which is 0.999%) most men are the ones always having to exchange money for care and attentions

Yep. Life happens, and that's when friendship is put to the test. It's scary just thinking about it.

But I think sometimes the signs are always there from the onset. Most of the time, people don't change; we were just blind to see. The way our friends treat others and their reactions to problems will probably affect us in the future.

Personally I just feel that people have their melting points. "The great" friends will leave, either intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes the signs are not there, they're the people you love and tomorrow life happens and they're nowhere to be found.
The older we get, the more we just realize and understand it.
