40 Weeks of Vibes!: Highlights, Winners, and Reflections
Before ginto the highlights, I would like to congratulate all the winners of week #40. Your creativity and hard work truly paid off and it’s always a joy to celebrate such outstanding talent in our community.
Week #40 had no theme. Every artist had the freedom to freestyle, compose, or make a cover of any song. Watching and listening to their entries was truly exciting although I did it a bit late because of my health and current location. Even so, I discovered some new faces and enjoyed the creativity they brought.
I would like to highlight a few original entries that stood out to me. These artists are very talented, and I’m glad they’re receiving the spotlight they deserve in the Vibes community.
MISTERIO – Original Song by @dimeilaz
He wrote an intriguing song about a mystery woman in a disco, and we all know anything mysterious sparks excitement. The lyrics drew me in and I found myself vibing to the very end. Beautifully he came first in the competition, a well-deserved win:)
Congratulations, Dimeilaz!

Mother’s Love — Original Song by @kmichealson
This was one of the most touching entries of the week. He wrote about the love of a mother, inspired by his personal story of losing his mother and later his grandmother, who became like a mother to him. Mother’s love is truly one of the most powerful forces in the world, it nurtures, protects, and comforts in ways that words can barely capture. His lyrics carried that warmth beautifully, making it a song that many of us could relate to.
POG — Instrumental by @thonykx01
I particularly loved how he introduced this piece. His explanation made it easy to follow, even for someone like me who doesn’t know much about musical instruments.Beyond the technical side, his enthusiasm was contagious. The way he played showed not just skill but passion which made the video worth watching from the beginning to the end.
Oh Lord Heal Us — Original Song by @bigsteff
This heartfelt entry came with lyrics that called us to repentance and total reliance on God. He shared that the inspiration came from his health struggles, which is something I can personally relate to. Whenever I feel unwell I often turn to writing and it brings me peace. His ability to transform his personal challenges into a moving piece of music is inspiring and it reminded me of how we could always make something out of every situation.
So friends, these are just a few highlights from Week 40. Thee was so much talent on display, and every artist had something unique to teach us.
