It's Fish Doorbell Season
Have you heard of the fish doorbell?
It's a program in the Netherlands where they have a livestream set up on one of the locks. When you spot a fish on the camera, you ring the doorbell and the person in charge of the lock opens the door to let the fish through! It happens during migration season when they are going upstream to lay eggs.
currently there are no fish at the door
It's a cool thing to peek at every now and then to see if any fish need our help. Together we can help them get to their spring egg laying territory!
The website shows photos of various fish they have seen at the door and tells you more about the program and how it got started.
Check it out and help our fishy friends today! :)

I like the idea
cool game in NETHERLANDS, enjoy it and be safe.
Such a good idea :) Why is it closed at all?
I'm not sure, I think it's maybe part of flood protection?
