A song about a Mexican workers killed in a plane crash in America
New music
This is a very humanistic song by Woody Guthrie about a group of workers killed in an American plane crash. When it was reported in a local paper, these workers were referred to as deportees - in no more than a couple of paragraphs.
It was made popular by Gram Parsons while he was in The Byrds.
It is one of the tracks on my 20 song CD, Kick Out The Country
