I have always been curious about solar energy, and when we moved to Spain, that was my first thought! To move to solar! Unfortunately, this region of Spain had some crazy taxes back in the day (taxing the sun! But, literally!)... But even now when they removed that ridiculous tax, I live in an apartment, so that idea is still "on the line"... Maybe one day when I move into a small country house, which is one of the plans for the future!
I'm not sure if you already wrote about it, but it would be great to see the financial numbers behind your investment, did you already pay off it...

I paid cash for my system and it will pay off in 3-4 years in full. Be patient as my move to Portugal is solar related and Spain is close by. I am seeing the latest solar tech this week and will share the differences. The company that I am currently setting up is a solar company and why I was testing everyone who was involved with the entire process. Solar is not expensive and the market is ripping people off. Unfortunately the next narrative we will all be faced with will be our carbon foot print and solar will boom in the EU.
