No Humans .:. Chill Out Walk in Nature

I suppose that the dream of every introvert is to go somewhere for a walk and to see no humans around at all... πŸ˜‚ In this particular walk, that dream was fulfilled... πŸ˜ƒ We were walking in nature for around an hour (or a bit more), and we didn't meet anyone! Just to clarify, this isn't a desert (while in some photos it looks like that), there are hiking trails (not a jungle), the day was perfect for a walk, but nobody, except us, decided to enjoy this peaceful surrounding...

If you were watching the walk and talk video from 3 weeks ago, you will maybe recognize some of these views in the photos... Curiously, I have noticed that I mentioned banks in that post, and today, I had another unpleasant talk with my bank accountant... lol... As the weather was ugly today for a walk, I suppose that my de-stress method is to check out old photos (like these) and absorb some of the calm atmosphere from them... πŸ˜ƒ

04.jpg

05.jpg

Oh, yes, this walk wasn't today, but around 4 weeks ago... And because of 2 photos above, I couldn't post a title: "No living creatures", as these were some very active tadpoles (larval amphibians) in a few small water ponds... It is a small river, but it sometimes goes underground, then it gets ground, creating these small ponds, or maybe the better word is puddles! It's amazing how life can appear anywhere!

07.jpg

08.jpg

When I was on a walk, I had the idea of creating photos from some "weird" angles and making them more interesting... A few squats during the walk are good for health... πŸ˜ƒ A small bridge over the "big" river... πŸ™‚

09.jpg

11.jpg

Nice place for a picnic if you want to take a rest and enjoy the silence...

13.jpg

This small river was powering up many water mills in the old days!

14.jpg

15.jpg

I'm always amazed at how these plants can survive in conditions like this... Lack of soil, lack of rain and water in general... That's why I like to take these closeup photos of flowers, which are mostly so small that you can't even notice them while you are walking... Except if you slow down and pay attention!

16.jpg

17.jpg

18.jpg

I suppose that the river was much bigger back in the long past as this whole trail is situated in a sort of a canyon which was probably "molded" by this (now) tiny river thousand and thousand of years...

I tried to get some nice reflections in the water, but it was already evening, no sun in the canyon, and no big water surfaces... πŸ˜ƒ Maybe next time...

23.jpg

24.jpg

I was joking in that above-mentioned video with a similar waterfall, saying that it's Niagara Falls... πŸ˜ƒ Well, this is another one! Two in a row! πŸ˜ƒ

A few posts ago, I mentioned how hard I'm finding my place in this new surrounding, after moving to a completely different city and area... Well, places like this exist near to my place, and I have to continue searching for them... The first place is discovered, and it's time for investigating and finding others... Spring is near, and it's probably the best time of the year to be spent in nature!

Thank you for your time,

I did it last weekend for the first time of this year. You might remember from my previous posts about my weekend nature activity :) As the weather seems to be warmer in the upcoming days, I will have more chances to do it again ;)

By the way, there were also some pine cones πŸ˜„

The best time of the year for hiking in Spain is probably winter/early spring... At that time, there are not many tourists, and those who are here are usually cyclists and not hikers... πŸ˜ƒ

That is a very nice feature of the park, it surely looks like somewhere in the dessert, certainly a nice place for a walk, and appreciate nature.
cute little tadpoles. ;)

Those tadpoles were the biggest surprise as I didn't expect to find any wildlife in that small puddle!

Thanks for checking out the post!

It looks nice and it's different from what I normally see outside there. Just keep looking around and you might find some new things. Ugh, the banks are annoying when there are issues. It's fine when there are no problems though.

No humans! I'd love that, haha. It's been a long time since I've seen these tadpoles. I used to see thousands of them in a small fountain in the village where I used to live and I would try to catch them πŸ˜‚

Hehehe... I remember going on camping when I was a child and seeing the whole river beach covered with frogs! πŸ˜‚ And in every puddle around the beach, there were hundreds of tadpoles! πŸ˜ƒ

It should be more colorful, but not sure as there is not that much fertile soil... It's mostly rocky... But, we will see...
I will probably re-visit that place in a month or two!

Well the weather was great, as the sun was actually shining. I think sometimes we need privacy to take the types of pictures we want. Somehow I always feel uncomfortable having to bend, tilt my legs or shoulders to get a particular shot. Sometimes it feels really weird. Although this is the reason why I'll like to go on a shooting spree without anyone in sight. It might actually be different for you.

I'm like that too!! If someone is around, I will probably skip taking a photo! Which is bad as sometimes there are things worth to be photographed... Anyway, I feel uncomfortable taking photos, even if those people will not be in the picture... πŸ˜ƒ
I should probably work on that... To care more about the photo than the people around... πŸ˜„

Oh this is incredibly beautiful! Well done on getting out and into nature. Lord knows I need that. Wonky knees make it a bit difficult though, but with them improving, I might pick an easy trail :) thanks for sharing the beautiful photos
