Did you miss last week's #HHHLive show? I had a busy week and I didn't have time to prepare the show, so I decided to skip it... Also, it didn't help that I couldn't get out from these "winter colds", losing my voice, coughing, etc. The irony is that in the place where I live, it wasn't that cold at all and we don't have the "real winter" as there is in other places... I suppose that probably because of that, viruses and bacteria can survive and thrive... 🙂
Two weeks ago we had a "special edition" show where I had some "pre-planned" ideas for the show, but it went in a completely different direction as participants wanted like that... :) This week, or better said in a few hours, we will have a standard show, so no topic-hijacking this time... 😃

According to crypto OGs, we are going into the 2nd bull-run gear soon and we should see some crazy crypto prices very soon... HIVE had a small mini-run from 25-30c, to around 40cents where it is sitting at the moment, but if the Bitcoin Daddy hits harder, we can expect to see HIVE a lot higher... Of course, those are just speculation as nobody knows what will happen, but we can prepare ourselves for ALL possible scenarios...
What does that mean? Well, if you want to take some profits, you should think about preparing funds for doing that... On the other side, if you think that we are still early, you may want to stack more HIVE and in that case, you should find a way how to buy it... And finally, if you don't want to participate in the price speculation, maybe you just want to grow your HivePower and in that case, you also have to find a way how to do it...
A few months ago, HIVE was de-listed from a few exchanges, and that caught a lot of people off-guard and they were unable to find a solution on how to buy or sell their HIVE... So, the show topic will be exactly that! Sharing the ways how to buy or sell HIVE in different countries... As not all exchanges are operational all around the globe, I will need help from you, participants!
The idea is that everyone who participates in the show shares his way of buying (or selling) HIVE in his country of residence... All that data could be a valuable source for others who don't know how to do it, and also for people who will check out the recording of the show! Will you help me in creating this useful database?
As we moved clocks in Europe 2 weeks ago, I have made a small adjustment to the show timetable... The show will begin on Wednesday, 4:30 PM UTC (check your local time!!!)
How was it in the last show? As I said at the beginning, we had the freestyle show last time and talked about different topics for over 2 hours! The time passed fast as we had a lot of fun! Right now I can sell my hive for Bitcoin on our decentralized finance market.
Actually I've got to do a billion tiny small exchanges to be able to shift it all over without massive price impact and having to pay through the nose. Stupid! But hey!
And lately I've just been accumulating a little bit here and there and adding things up. Which is actually doing quite well indeed. I'm super excited and happy.
You have to have 1% of one Bitcoin to be able to withdraw.
And I'm nearly at that goal again and looking for something really cool.
I was thinking about possibly doing that nice laptop dream I had... Gaming and being able to write my stuff here online.
Hmmm... Can you be more specific about what market are you talking about? Hive-Engine?
1% of one Bitcoin will get bigger and bigger and if you have to collect that much to be able to move funds isn't a solution for the long term... 🙁

And it's not a long term solution. However it beats the other direction that I was going that had to pay fee upon fee upon fee upon fee...
This time there's only a couple of keys but I'm getting out that's only having to pay about half of it now... Because half the steps!
I don't know when I'm going to do with it and we will see what goes on.
I'm using SWAP.BTC in moments when HIVE is going up, to preserve its value (like others are using HBD, for example) in the bear market... when HIVE goes down, I exchange back from BTC to HIVE...
And for short-term withdrawals from H-E tokens, I use LTC instead of BTC for lower fees... But, the problem with LTC is that it's less predictable and I don't trust it to keep fund in LTC for a long(er) term... So, only using to transact and go out from it :)
With the decline of hive community? Thinking that I would have a better chance at life In the real world.

Never bought or sold HIVE yet, however, I plan to buy HIVE with the fiat or crypto I earned on some other platforms and then delegate to my junior account :)

I havent bought hive so far, way too complicated and so much fees to pass trough exchanges
Unfortunately, it is still like that... We would think that it would get easier over time, but it didn't... On the other side, things are going in a decentralization exchange direction, and that's good... We could have better solutions soon...
It sounds like an interesting topic. Other than some money that I put into Splinterlands, I have yet to buy or sell any hive or crypto from hive. I look forward to seeing how many people use which options. Do they do so due to convivence, fees or KYC?

It was Bitstamp if I remember well, but not long after that, the whole exchange went downwards... As HIVE was doing low volume, there was (maybe still is) a threat that it would be delisted from Binance too...
Bitstamp, I see... Well, I did hear about the threat of being delisted from Binance but I thought we are safe now. I mean Hive usually has a 24 h trading volume of at least a few million dollars, most of which happens on Binance I guess, so we should be safe over there. But yeah, you never know... Getting delisted from Binance would be a disaster. Let´s hope it never happens.
I use Binance for that, it's an easy way to buy Hive. Let's see how right the crypto bulls are this time. See you tonight, man.
Binance is one of the popular routes for getting (and selling) HIVE as it is the biggest exchange that supports HIVE... Lately, they did some wrong moves, but in general, they are fairly good...
I'm not a fan of Binance, but I don't think there is a better option in our country. If I find an app that is better than Binance in many ways, I will start using it 😅
It's still early days TBH. I think now is even the juiciest period to stack, BTC seems to be on cool down and correcting here and there, but I think till late 2024 before we begin to see significance price push. It's all speculations though, but I still expect the market to blow up
I agree with you on that "speculation"... :) I'm buying HIVE every time goes under 40c as in my opinion, it will go much higher from there... and even conservative 50-60c is a nice profit ;)

Yeah, Binance is one of the biggest exchanges out there, and having HIVE there is a big plus... I hope HIVE will manage to stay there!
For me, the way I am familiar is to convert to Hive -> SWAP.HIVE (deposit in Tribaldex) -> SWAP.BNB (trade) -> withdraw to Crypto.com wallet as BNB. From there, it can be easily linked to the bank accounts. I haven't tried the other way round (funding Hive) though.
That's an interesting route to do it... :) I was doing something similar, but instead BNB, I was doing LTC
