I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

As change is constant, so does learning is. We Human being are bound to keep learning from the thing engage ourselves on daily basis. Ever since I have started my small garden right at the back of my house, I have been a able to gather a lot experiences over how to plant vegetables from seeds stage to the early stage of harvest. So I want to use this medium to share my experience on the techniques to use when planting any kind of vegetables.

The incident that changed my experience.

The last broadcasting I did some weeks ago immediately after I got the small space to grow vegetables didn't really yield something positive as I expected and this was because I made a technical mistake while I was broadcasting the vegetable seeds. The costly mistake I made was that, I did the broadcasting system well but after the seeds were broadcasted meaning the seeds were sitting ontop of the tilled soil, after a while I saw some lizards and birds coming to pick some of the seeds.

After that incident, I didn't really mind, thinking that these animals will only pick few seeds they could pick. It's when after the vegetables were growing that I found out that few parts of the garden have the vegetables coming while the larger parts had nothing coming out. It's so disappointing because I was really expecting something better.

Techniques to use when planting vegetables seeds.

So after I spoke to the vegetables seeds vendor, she now taught me this technique. She asked me to get any kind of bowl, get some sand(loamy),put the sand inside the bowl, spread the seeds on the sand, mix it and then broadcast it in the garden. The pictures below explain how I did exactly what the woman asked me to do.

Step by step.

• I got a brown tray.
  

• Put the sand inside the tray
  

• Sprinkle the seed on the few sand inside the tray.
  
  

• Then I mixed the sand and the seeds up.
  

• And then finally, I broadcasted the seeds mixed with the sand on the soil in the garden.
  

In conclusion of my conversation with the woman selling the stuff she said this technique will not allow these animals to easily have access to the seeds talkless of picking it.
