Worry, anxiety and stress are all part of life. There is no life that is free or void of problems and worries. Right from personal issues to family dramas, down to the different kinds of relationships we find ourselves in. We experience stress and anxiety in one way or the other.
Stress is therefore something that is inevitable. It can only be managed.

Being stressed and having constant anxiety can take a great toll on one's health. Especially, in the aspect of mental, physical, emotional and financial health.
For instance, when I’m stressed out I tend to get easily frustrated and grumpy. That's my emotional reaction to stress. Physically, I become so tired after the rush of the day has worn off, that I can't do a single thing. Mentally, my mind or brain automatically shuts down or goes into overdrive of thinking too much.

I believe stress and anxiety is a very dangerous condition we really need to look into. Most people don't pay close attention to this part because it is not a chronic illness or disease. But I believe more attention should be given to our body when we are stressed and tired because these conditions are what we call silent killers. They can trigger other illness and symptoms. Also, it is our body’s way of communicating to us. When we ignore this signal were puting ourselves at risk and at harm's way.

The first thing on my list I always do when I am stressed, is to sleep, take a break or rest. I live life with the mindset that you are responsible for yourself and everything that concerns you. This means that it is my responsibility to take care of myself, my emotions, my finaces, my health and everything else that concerns me. Most people do not recognize their limits. They don't know when to stop or take a break. They keep pushing and pushing themselves which is very wrong. I always take a nap or a break when I feel stressed out and it has always worked for me.

The second thing on my list I always do is to watch a movie. movies are very comforting and healing for me. That short time I use to watch a movie makes me relax and distracts my mind from my problems and worries. It allows me to take a break from life’s problems. Also, meditation is another thing I always do to relive stress. I just sit down and meditate, enjoying the silence of the atmosphere especially in my room where they are no distraction. It is a very effective way to clear your mind and rearrange your focus. It can help you erase the bad enegry causing you to be all worked up. Mediation really works for me.

The last and final thing I usually do when I'm stressed out, worked up, worried or simply tired is to play some music. I am obviously a music person and listening to music works like magic for me. I immediately feel myself relaxing and coming together. Music, I tell you from the bottom of my heart do help in managing stress. Just put on some ear pod, play a good music that is soul lifting and watch yourself feeling relaxed and relieved.

In all, never joke with stress or anxiety. It is your body's mechanism of communicating to you about how tired it is. Continuous ignorance to this can cause a whole lot of problems for people. Also, always no your limits. Know when to stop and take a break. It's is ver important.

Stress really is a silent killer. I love how you highlighted self-awareness and knowing when to pause. Sometimes the best therapy is just resting, breathing, and letting music do its magic
