Using my left over material to great a beautiful simple Bubu long gown for my little Niece.

Hello hive

Happy and blessed needleworkmonday and happy blissful Monday to you all, how are you all doing and how was your weekend? I hope it was good and perfect, It a pleasure to be here with you all and I'm so excited to share with you all, the step by step process of how I cut and sew this beautiful Bubu long gown for my little Niece, using my left over material.

I feel so excited each time or each day i great something nice and beautiful for children, even if i sew for my baby, i wanyed to used the left over material for my baby but all of a sudden i change my mind, it's been a very long time i have not been with my Niece of steady with them, so i went to the village to spent just 3 days with them because of the child dedication we had, but my nieces didn't allow me to go, after sewing this material for myself.

I measured my baby girl and started sewing for her, i was deeply surprised seeing this my Niece coming around always and she came sitting with me till i finished sewing, so i kept the clothes and went inside then i came back seeing her wearing it on her body, so i later tried to remove her the cloth she started crying and said that the clothes is her own, well, i didn't know what to do at the moment than to live her then i came again to remove her she still cried and her mom tried also she refused so i gave it to her and i promise to buy new material for my daughter, the material was so beautiful.

Let's get to the cutting and sewing process

I was using my baby's measurements and i decided to sew a long Bubu gwn for because i haven't sewn her a long gown before, so i picked up the left over material and i folded it by two, i measured the full length, the half shouldee measurements, i took the biggest part of her body because some children has big tummy and then i added some inches for the sewing allowance and the body to be free, then i cut it out.

After cutting the front side out, i folded the remaining material and i placed the front on it then i cut the back side out, then i cut out the back side neck and opened up the back neck slit.

After finishing with the cutting process i start joining the fromt and back together, i bend the sleeves hem and i cut a 1 inch pieces and turned in the neck part to the back slit part, then i put in a buttin loop and fixed in the back buttin.

So here is the outcome of it.

The outcome was so beautiful and nice, although my niece was crying not to remove the dress again because she likes it and it really look nice on her, i hope you like it.

Thank you so much for reading through my post, see all soon.

I understand that she doesn't want to take off her dress, as it looks beautiful on her.
