The most difficult part and challenges in making a male trousers and how I come out of it to make it nice.

Hi hive

Special greetings to you all of my colleagues in @needleworkmonday community, happy new week and happy Needleworkmonday, how was your week, hope it was a special one, it another week to meet you all again for us to share out our skills and talent together and I'm so thrilled to share with you all about the most difficult part and challenges in making a male trousers and how I come out of it to make it nice.

Facing some challenges in life or in the kind of project that we made is a kind of experience for us, if we all are to said the truth out, maybe some of us might drop our personal own to pitty others, have you ever faced the challenges in sewing that makes you drop the clothes and relax to think on the next step🙆🙆🙆🙆 if we all chack and believe that sometimes cutting is easier than sewing it will marvel us that sewing work is not that easy.

I just went and bought this nevy blue material to sew a long male trouser for my brother as a surprise gift because he wanted it to change his old chior uniform, so i confidentially determined to do it because my fear in sewing male trousers is the back pocket, so i said to myself that there's a success in determination, I then killed out the fear and start working.

The procedure

I started by folding the material by two, I took out all the necessary measurements, I cut out the front side with excesses allowance so that it will not be too tight but shaping to the normal measurement, after confirmation from the drafting I cut it out.

Then I folded the remaining material again by two and placed the front on it and put in 2.5 inches for the back crotch width then I put in 1.2 inches for the rest of the body part because the bank side of trouser always bigger than the front, so at the front side I slanted the waist by I inch so I return the 1 inch to the back waist then I cut it out.

After that i sat and cut out the two side pocket turning, the back packet turning and the pieces too.

Finishing with the cutting I then went and put the two side pocket and iron them properly well.

So I went on fighting with the back pocket, i firstly holed the two side dart before, I tried the first side, i iron the pocket pieces with paper gum so the pocket will look smooth, i placed one pieces down and sew very straight to the size needed and i plced the second up and sew it down.

After that i used scissors and cut a straight line to the sewing point then i turned them inside i was struggling to make it look nice but it came out bad, due to my sewing experience, after turning it with the pocket turning pieces i double stiched it outside to make it smooth.

So i wemt ahead withthe other side back pocket, after experiencing fr the first side i tried making this side more beautiful than the other side but i still double stitched it outside.

Finishing with the backp pocket i picked the from side and put a zip on it.

I now joined the back side to the front and closed all the crotch extension.

I cut out the pocket roop and waistband then i iron with gum then i mark down tue roop point put ans started sewing.

After finishing with the first waistband i used the turning waistband and turned it.

After turning the waistband properly i then double stitch the roop and iron the trouser properly.

So here is the outcome of the trouser.

It was so great that i overcome it and i was so excited that the trouser fot him very well, he was so surprised and excited seeing it, how do you see it?

Thank you so much for reading through my post.
