Putting smile on my customer's child face, a stunning gown with two steps joining flare .

Hello beloved.πŸ™‹πŸ™‹

Happy needleworkmonday and Happy new week to you all, i hope you all are good and sound, I'm here today to share with you all on the step I carried in making this stunning dress for my customer's baby girl.

I'm so excited that I finally make this girl smile, we know how children behalf funny some times especially when you promise them something and it takes time to fulfil that means you will not reast or have a peace of mind, they will disturb you untill they get that thing from you, this girl disturbed me and her mother right from the day she followed her mum to my place to collect the bubu kaftan dress I made for her mother, she heard when her told me that she loves the material and she will get the material again from her customer for me to sew for her baby girl because she thought that this one will be enough to sew for the both of them, therefore since that day this girl started asking me if her clothes, I didn't know that her mother brought me to the picture that makes her asking me mma tailor have you not finish my clothes, I discover after her mother brought me the material to sew for her that she told her child that I have not finish her clothes yet that because she disturbed her so much till her mother refers her to me, that not bad Shay.....πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
This my customer which is my neighbor, she went and collected her customer the fabric, so I collected the fabric and start work immediately.

I started with the cutting process, so I folded the fabric by two I firstly measured the full length then I measured her shoulder divided by two, I took the armhole length, her body divided by four, her burst and hips divided by four too then i added 2 inches for sewing allowance, I drafted them and cut out.

I placed the front side on the fabric on fold and cut out the back side, i put the zipper allowance at the back

I now use the same fabric as half facing for the neck turn, I placed the front side of the dress in the facing a cut it out and I also placed the back side and cut it out.

So I then folded the fabric by four in flare form so I took the normall length and cut it out.

I went and turned the neck point with the facing linning the i iron an emmy gum at the hem of the inner facing

I picked up the zip and put it at the back side of the dress.

After putting the zip i added the flare step together both front and back,

I wenr ahead and joined the down flare and the body together, then i cut the sleeves and open up the shouder part then use 1 inch of pieces and turned the hem sleeves, i cut out 4.5 inches pieces of the fabric as a mofliar roap and bind the neck properly.

After cutting and sewing i went and iron it very well.
So here is the outcome of it.

My customer's child was so excited, she love the dress so much, her mother said she likes the style, their faces tell ot all, i hope tou like the dress.

Thanks so much for passing by my blog, do have a nice day....,πŸ’–πŸ’– U all
