Hope you are doing perfectly fine, nice to meet you all again and I'm so excited to share this beautiful post with you all and it is all about how i made this beautiful free dress for myself to attend my Aunty's child dedication.

Have you ever been disappointed by a seamstress before......? Well, I didn't regret of being a seamstress, to afford some disappointment and troubles, sometimes they might dissappoint your expectations, I'm so excited that i didn't fall into it, last week my Aunty called me for her child dedication preparation just to help her out for some certain things, well i was not feeling too well due to my pregnancy, i know she's a Nurse so she asked me to come that she will take of that, i wanted to wear something new on the child dedication day, i was thinking on the kind of material to buy because i wanted something free and different material from the other once i have, so i remember i had this beautiful linning material with good design that we shared with my friend, it was five yards, i took three and she took two yards depending on the style i wanted, i didn't have any chance to sew by myself so i called her to help me out as a friend, but guess what? 🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆 she dissappointed me, thanks to my Aunty who pushed me to go there on Saturday and collect it because i wanted to collect it on that Sunday morning, she made the cutting and dump it, telling me that she didn't know she will not be around and she didn't called me nor to picked my calls, well i was so excited that she had made all the cutting and weaving process but i was totally disappointed and frustrated, so i had to look for someone to borrow sewing machine.

So my Aunty directed me to her neighbor so she helped me out with her sewing machine but it was inside her room die to the lack of space outside so i had to managed it inside her room, thank God she had already weaved them all and it was so easy for me.

I firstly joined the shoulder together so that it will be very easy for me to turn the back and the front neck together at once, so after joining the shoulder front and back together i cut out 1.5 inche piece of the material then i used it to bind the neck round and put in an invisible zip.

I didn't have much time because it was getting dark and we were sharing the sewing machine, so after binding the neck and put the zip at the back i joined the body together and fixed the sleeves then i bend the hem of the sleeves and put elastic on it.

After putting elastic on the both side of the sleeves i wwnt ahead and bend tue hem of the dress then i iron it carefully.

Here is the outcome of my free dress.

The outcome was very nice and beautiful, although i was not in a good mood but at last i was so excited for being a seamstress with a good prove, because i didn't know were to run to on that Saturday and it was in the evening time, let's be a good tailor and seamstress, let us be truthful and trusted, some the the tailors and seamstress are not truthful, they will have a lot of work to do for customers and they will still collect another work ontop with finishing the old onve for customers in time, if at all i didn't know how to sew i would be so disappointed, but i was so excited on Sunday for not been disappointed.
