Happy blissful weekend to you all, hope you all are doing great, it amazing to share my post to you all today, and I'm going to share the steps by step process on how i cut and sew this shirt for my customer's little boy.

In the process of sewing a shirt, there are many ways of sewing a shirt, even in making styles, the main problem i had in sewing a shirt is the collar, i always like binding the neck but surprisingly my customer gave me this remaining fabric to sew a collar shirt for her little boy, well i didn't want to tell her that i dont know how to put a collar but i just wanted to know it because we learn to sew by sewing.
So since i have already had the matching thread and the buttons so i brought out the fabric and start tue cutting process, i started with the back cutting so it will be so fast for me, i folded the fabric by two, i measured the full length, the shoulder divided by two, the body divided by two then i added sewing allowance, i two the neck measurements length and width then i cut it out.

After cutting the back out, i folded the fabric bu two again and i place the back side on it then i added 1.5 inch for the front buttons holder then i cut it out.

So i went and iron the buttons holder point and i top stich the both side properly.

I joined the front and back shoulder together.

After that i cut out the neck collar, i cut the first one and it wasn't correct and i conderm ir and try another one, so i cut the upper bend one by 2inches width and the small one by 1and the half inch width so i turned the upper one and i placed the small one back and front of the upper one then i sew them together.

I was struggling to make sure that i succeeded in making the collar so nice but finally it come out nice, then i went and joined the collar carefully and top stiched it very nice and i make a round cutting at the down hem as desired.

So after making the round hem i cut oit the sleeves and fixed at the normal point and also bend the down hem, so i brought out my hand needle and started tagging the buttons holder and fixed in the buttons carefully.

Here is the outcome of it.

It so nice and the collar was so stressful, I'm so excited that i could be able to sew a shirt collar so nicely and my customer came this morning and i delivered it this morning to my customer, and i sew them passing by my frontage to church and the shirt fit her little boy so nice.
