Creating a beautiful dress for my customer

Hello needlework

Special greetings from me to you all to make your day, how are you all doing and how was your weekend, I hope everything goes very well with you all, nice to meet you all today and I'm so excited to share my beautiful post with you all, so today I will be sharing with you all on how I cut and sew this beautiful dress for my customer.

A good tailor always make his or her customer smile without being angry through disappointment and if you want to be a successful tailor you have to be straight forward and have patience in all ways, being a good tailor is not easy, some times disappointment Puch our clients away from us, a lot of people here are complaining that all the tailors are the same, full with disappointment, so I stood and asked one of them why, they said that she gave her fabric to a tailor to sew for her and the tailor collected the fabric and promise to sew for her so instead of the tailor to tell her that she had a lot of work and she will not have chance to sew for her, she collected the fabric and disappoint her, I know she have every right to be angry because it was a traditional marriage uniform, that why I said that being straight forward with your client is really good, me I don't have time for any of my clients problem because it normally spoil someone reputation, if I don't have chance I tell my clients direct, so my clients brought a fabric for me to sew for her and it was an urgent work so I firstly checked my schedule very well and I didn't have chance so I told her that I don't have chance, she understands me and gave it to another person to sew for her and this time she brought another fabric and I make it up to her, her fabric look very nice.

She told me the style that she want so we agreed on it with the price too, so I went and bought all the materials needed and then I started the process immediately.

The cutting process

I folded the fabric by two and drafted the front part down through all the body measurements and I cut it out.

After cutting the front side out I folded the fabric again by two then I placed the front side on it and added 1.5 inch for zipper allowance then I cut it out and I make a 3 inches slit at the front me k part.

I spread the black lining on the floor then I placed the front an the back on the lining and cut them out.

So I went and turned them with the lining, so I didn't turned the neck part because I will be bind the neck as a mofliar piece.

After turning them I jorned the back side together and close the down part and skip the zipper space then i put in the zip and then joined the front and back body together.

I quickly cut out the down hem two step piece gathers, I make a gathers line and gather them together then I placed the two steps together both front and back.

I joined them at the front and back hem of the dress then I bind the neck line and i the double stitch the mofliar roop.

So I cut out the two sides sleeves and slit the middle part then I pleat the upper hem part and the down hem part and bind the down hem and remain the two side roop, after putting the two side sleeves I then close the two sides body properly.

So here is the outcome of it

It was so nice that I make her smile in return and she was so excited for the quick delivery, the gown looks so nice on her and she loves it.

Thank you so much for stopping by, do have a nice day.

If customers are happy to see a tailor's work, that's all that matters. It's not easy to achieve that always. Customers should understand how much effort a tailor puts to made the dress. What you made, that's beautiful. It looks amazing. Well done!
