Another beautiful and lovely design for my baby girl.
Hello beautiful and handsome people in the @needleworkmonday community, Happy new week and happy blissful needleworkmonday, how are you all doing today? i hope all is well, nice to meet you all today and I'm so excited to share my post with you all, it's another beautiful and lovely design for my baby girl using some remaining fabric.
Finding time to sew for my baby girl is what i like most because every child needs to be happy always, buying them new things, taking them out and other responsibilities, i have been a home mother since i gave birth to her and i have to be a home mother till i finally decided not to, making her happy is one of my responsibility, I'm now with my own sewing machine so i have to sit at home and sew for her and for my customers who chose to patronize me always, bit now due to how things turns to with the financial hardship people some of the people doesn't depends on sewing for now, so i have some chance to sew for my baby girl.
So there's this remaining fabric that i kept for a long time so i didn't have the material to combine with, so ome of my customer gave me this beautiful nude color of material to sew for her child then she asked me to use the remaining which was not enough for her to use again.
Well i was thinking on how to combine it and how it will look like, so i was trying on a kind of free gown but my sister said she had a lot of free gown that i should try something like shaping gownsince she can work free by herself, wwll i abide with the idea after cutting out the front side.
I firstly cut out the front side using the free mothod, then i went ahead and placed the front on the material on fold so i put in 1 inch for zipper allowance and cut out the neck by 1.5 inch length so that the length will not be the same length with the front side.
I was so disappointed by the nepper light because i was hoping to use it to iron it, so i folded the front side by two to have the center part, then i cut out the fabric pieces by 1.5 width and i took the length of the dress, so i placed it on the center part of the dress and sew the both two side of it.
But it was a little bit shift out of the center, so i use the same pieces that remain and bind the feont and the back neck.
So i wwnt ahead and put the zip at the back.
After that i cut out the fabric by 4.5 inches length and took the whole length for the pleating down hem, then i bend the hem and sew it with pleating on the front and back hem part.
Then i joined the front and back body together and fold the material and cut out the sleeves.
After cutting out the sleeves i joined the both side on the dress and close the hamhole space.
So here is the outcome of my baby's dress.
I then turned it to be a little shaping bit it still came out so beautiful, my baby was so excited with it yesterday at the church, i hope you like it.
