Beer Saturday, the non-stop drinking challenge with friends

Saturday's are always fun, and most importantly, when I am out with some of my friends, there are definitely plenty of things to gist about whenever we gather, especially happenings and challenges faced during the week at work, which we do talk about.

Even at that, it's not always a boring moment, and we do take time out to relax by taking some beer and some assorted meat to finish it up.

Beer is life, life is beer, is our popular saying, especially when we are done talking about work and business, and it is about time to catch some cruise (a slang in Nigeria).

This weekend was no exception. As we took our drinking level to the next level, one of us got promoted at work during the week, so he decided to flex everyone and put the bills on him. We were all delighted as we were celebrating him, and there was definitely a lot of beer to drink as well.

We decided to do two brands of beer, especially the most notable one among people here in Nigeria, Trophy and 33 Beer. These two beer are one of the most popular in Nigeria.

It was indeed a very entertaining moment, as we requested some hip-hop music, and we also paid respect to the dead Nigerian young artist Mohbad, who lost his life recently. Honestly, this weekend was pretty remarkable.

We took beer drinking to the next level by competing to see who would stop first. Can you see the table? We kept on drinking and looking at each other to see who would reach the beer drinking limit first.

For me, I know I won't get there first because I know those who aren't good at drinking, unlike some of us who can do a crate of beer at times.

It's not all about drinking, but getting to see that we are progressing as individuals and groups is part of the fun this weekend.
Honestly, no one wanted to drop their bottle.

A lot of trophy beer and 33 beers were drank; this was the very first time we all drank that much since ever we have been going out together. Honestly, it was fun, as the owner of the beer parlor also gave credit to us for drinking that much.

We made her understand that beer is life, and life is beer.
