Noisey

I have noticed that when I do a lot of commenting or just general engagement online it is very similar if not worse than the noise you get by yapping a lot to people during the day IRL.

It does seem to be a lot more draining but in a running for your life and no time to think about anything way.

This is not a bad thing I guess it is just a side-effect worth noting, I think the reason might be that when you engage online most of the noise is just in your head, and not only your own yapping but the other peoples also.

That silly damn personal voiceover if you will. This is probably why it feels even more of a cacophony than even yelling at randoms in a nightclub and getting drawn into pointless discussions at every corner of a small town.

Usually a person just hears the thing, ignores the thing, retorts to thing.

With text you read the thing, voiceover the thing, retort to thing.

There is no ignore step - or to be precise - there is no auto processing when you are reading. You don't really have that option when reading , commenting, and blah blah blah.

It is doing double processing on the info, all in your own voice, and all those damn voices yelling at the same time.

Anyway just a thought.
