Why Hive will never take off!

Since a few days I have been in the eye of @hivewatchers. The account has been focussing on my account because “he” finds that the content I create is not profound or long enough. Hivewatchers says that content lower than 200 words shouldn’t be posted in the blogging section. It says I need to use Threads or Actifit, Liketu or DBuzz for my content.

I disagree with that, as my posts are most of the time well elaborated and explain my opinion about what I write. But apparently we have to be aiming for a Pulitzer prize.

In consequence to that I have been downvoted on my posts by @themarkymark for about 20 USD in total. Which actually sucks. I also got accused of being a “sock puppet” and an abuser of the reward pool. Which is ridiculous. I admit I have used AI sometimes about a year ago. And apologize for that. That never happened anymore after that. But now @hivewatchers finds that I should prove who I am by posting a link to a social media account of mine. Which is really sad, that’s anything from what Hive should be. Abuse is not Ok, I agree. But we all know the real milking of the reward pool is happening by the whales, not what @hivewatchers claims to be searching. That is peanuts compared with what the whales siphon off of this platform daily…

That is why this platform can never take off. I had hope because of InLeo and @khaleelkazi but the whales don’t want to give enough support, and that’s why Hive is on its way to the graveyard…

Me too.... I had my 8 year anniversary yesterday . Steemit.com for 4 years ... and Hive for 4 years .... I blogged every day and then had everything downvoted to zero by markymark ?? for no reason.... so I moved over to Blurt.blog and Blurt.media and earned $50,000 USD ... I'm Very happy over there. Once they start downvoting you on Hive there is nothing you can do except quit. Move on to better places. ... like Blurt.

I sold some to buy a car, but I’m already back to 1.2 Million Blurt… from posting and Curation. I will be able to retire when Blurt goes to $1 later this year.

Honestly HW sucks and do more harm than good to Hive. What is the point of web3 if you have to do KYC Through them?

HW try kill mosquitoes with canon balls.

For example, most users want to be anonimous or don't want relate their web2 accounts to hive. You usually ask for common people to prove who they are, and if not do that you left comments in theirs post (that scares or discourage them) or blacklist them.

With posible celebrities profiles I can understand that, but with common persons or users that already have more than a year in Hive without problems, come on...

There have been hundreds of accounts that have been around for years, and it suddenly it came that they engage in identity deception or theft.
Since the communities seldom verify the legitimacy of the accounts popping up in their communities, HW tend to do that work. 99% of accounts are not requested for verification.
Verification is required when some community or tag tends to have a high amount of identity theft.
Some example is like Liketu tag/app. It has had problems with theft for years.

to "farm" Tipu I would have to have an account that is assigned to the tip and which I deliberately tip my entries with, which did not happen. The person who tipped was jozef360 and he did it at his own discretion, I did not even have direct contact with him until he moved to blurt. In turn, your downvotes that I received under the pretext that jozef was allegedly abusing the tip also zeroed the remaining rewards over and over again, despite the fact that I wrote several times that even if you supposedly stick to such a narrative that he is abusing something (which was nonsense because not all of his tips were zeroed, only mine and 2 other people who spoke unfavorably about the Covid scam at that time), demanding that a correction be made every time was at least derogatory when you should take care to combat alleged abuses in the right way, not me.

As for @grzegorzplaczek, it is not my account. I helped set it up. This account belongs to a man who is currently a member of the Polish government. I met him during my anti-covid activities and convinced him to set up an account here as a place resistant to censorship. Unfortunately, you attacked him for verification and although I told him to do it, he got discouraged. It's a shame because he could have moved a large part of his team to hive.

@plsilajaworzno is also an account that I set up for a group from Jaworzno as part of the Hive promotion when I still believed in this platform. It was used by 2 other people because it was an organization account just like @zjedn-suwereni

Accusing me of farming is a very weak song. You've just been sinking like this since then. Hive could have been popular and big, but because of your activities you scare people away from here. You've fucked up a lot of my marketing efforts to convince these users to join and that's how I was convinced that Hive is a waste of time, so no greetings and goodbye.

And what do you expect in such a small community as, for example, the Polish community? Since this community had maybe 200 active people at the time, and it was hard to find a given person more than 5-6 blogs that publish content that really interests you, and to this you add the fact that not everyone publishes something every day, what kind of content do you think you will be voting for over and over again if not for the ones that interest you from people you like and whose work you support?

What's more, usually when you like someone's content, it is most often the case that this person also likes your content because you have common views. You don't have to discover that the sun is shining here to figure out that in small communities "circle voting" is created naturally and not because of the desire to drain the pool.

In abstraction, there are millions of users on Facebook, but when you post, very often your friends like you and you like your friends.

There are many communities that you could have joined that would support your content, like Deep Dives, Information War, and diggndeeper. Although you might have needed to translate content into English.

I don't think that a long post is always a good content, and is not curated enough even if it is of good quality.

Something similar happened to me; worldmappin blacklisted my account without a certain reason and without letting me know. When I asked the reason, they arrogantly told me "Go and find yourself a community!" A so-called admin or someone else here can easily blame you againts others.

I have been here more than 7 years and I have stopped posting for these reasons. I daily do manual curation and some comments. I am afraid that HIVE seems to have been in the hands of some ones and going to be like Steemit.

I will wait and see for a while, if nothing changes, I will go on like this or power down and leave...

Each community has specific rules, and if someone fails to follow them while posting in their community, they have the right to mute the user in their community.

Although the account was offered multiple microblogging options on Hive a few times and refused to use them, it is still not blacklisted by Hivewatchers. Likely, the refusal was because it would possibly lose the automated curation that has been received on these minimum effort posts.
