Games in USA and Australia

It’s something that was bound to happen one day, but I had hoped that UEFA wouldn’t allow it. Still it is a reality, on December 21st a Spanish La Liga game between Villareal and Fc Barcelona will be played in Miami, USA. And and Italian Serie A game will be played in Perth between AC Milan and Como.

UEFA was not keen on allowing it, but apparently the legal boundaries didn’t allow them to ban it! The games will go through.

This is of course sad news for the regular fans of those clubs, they paid for season tickets but won’t be able to watch the game. That is very sad, and kills the bond between regular fans and their clubs…
