21 to 6 %

The Value Added Tax on building materials and labour cost for the renovation of houses and appartements is permanently lowered from 21 to 6 % in Belgium.

This deal was made by the new Belgian government and is very important for the economy in Belgium. It will also stimulate the renovation of older and neglected properties.

In the meanwhile also the VAT on heat pumps is permanently lowered to 6 %, als for new houses. The VAR on natural gas heating does the opposite and goes from 6 to 21 %.

The green deal still gets pushed through!
