Fast growth, fast downfall?

Dropping population

China knew an incredible growth in the last 50 years. With over 100 cities popping up with more than 1 million inhabitant. Like Shenzen in the picture. This was mostly due to the huge population growth and the monetary policy by the PBOC.

But now the population is in decline, and within a decade they will lose over 150 million people.
This together with the aging population will create a massive bottleneck in China’s growth.

Money printing alone won’t get them out of trouble…
