He was the prime minister of Belgium, actually one of the worst, because he led our country into massive debt, and is now one of the leaders in the European Parliament.

After Donald Trump released the tariffs on Canada, mister Verhofstadt had the luminous and ridiculous idea to send a tweet in which he invites Canada into the European Union.

The end of the EU is near

This message is a perfect example of how things are these days in the European Union. Politicians are desperate and feel they are losing track with the population that votes more and more right wing. Completely against the leftist agenda the EU currently has.

So, Canada will never become a member of the European Union, but we can expect really weird things of the European leaders during Trump’s presidency!
