Massive online protest

Thanks to the massive online protest by millions of people and certain right wing parties, “Chat control” is of the European agenda. Today both Belgium and Germany officially backed down their support for the mass surveillance tool. This is not just a victory for freedom.
It is a tremendous victory for freedom and proves that protest works! Without tireless resistance from citizens, scientists, and organizations, EU governments would have passed a totalitarian mass surveillance law next week.

But the work isn’t over, as certain European parties will keep on pushing to get this atrocious law through! We have to stay vigilant and keep pushing.
