My first attempt in corset top, for my dear sister

Happy new week to you all, how was your weekend?
Today i want to share with you all on my first attempt in cutting and sewing of a corset top for my sister.

It was just a little flabbergasted, my weekend was a little busy, i do not have much time for myself as i plan of, well, i was not so discourage of myself, we all know as a tailor there will be an urgent work one day, but this was like getting to my neck because i didn't know were to start with.
I traveled to my village to have a weekend rest, on Saturday morning my called me asking me to sew a corset top for her, i told her that i didn't come with any sewing materials and it is weekend i don't think there will be a chance in my cousin's shop to sew, i wanted to escape the work because i have not sew a corset before but no way for me to escape she insisted and she even told me that it just a simple corset top that she needed a sleeveless top, i tried to convince her in many ways but she's insisted that i must sew for her, she went and bought a cup bra, thread, trimming and lining, i was so shocked but i told myself that this is a challenge and it also the opportunity for me to gain more knowledge that if i don't try i will not know. We all know that as a tailor or a seamstress we all learn from our mistake, i determine to sew even if i make a mistakes or not.
I collected the fabric and went to my cousin's shop with the little knowledge of mine i stared to work on it.

I started by cutting the back side because the back side will be so simple and faster, just to start with the back to charge up myself, after cutting the back side i turn it with lining and put a zip, because of my phone problem i didn't see a phone to snap some steps but i collected someone's phone after finishing with some staps.

After finishing with the back side, i turned to the front, i folded the fabric into two, i measured her burst, her body and her full length just to have her complete body shape, after putting the allowance i move to the burst part i measured out 2inches for the cup bra space, i made a mistake from measuring out 2inches wide and 3inches length and cut, after cutting it out i realize that i suppose placed the cup bra on the frabric and dratf, i quickly placed the cup bra on top of the fabric and draft it out, after that i cut it out, i also placed the cup bra on the same frabric and cut as the exact same of the cup bra but i put allowance to it before cutting, i folded it into two and cut after cutting it into two i joined it together again just to have the same size of the cup bra, after that i placed it ontop of the cup bra and sew it down.

After everything i joining the putting the cup bra i line the trimming on top of it and joine the both back and front together, after that i cut out 2 and the half width and 10 inches length of rope after that i sew it and turn it out, i cut it out in two places and put it up on the top.

This is the outcome of it, with this my first experience i hope i will be able to sew it very nice next time.
