The theory needs to be revised in a sense that shrodingers's cat observing the experiment would have collapsed the wave form or superposition. Why does it need a human observer? The observer is in a superposition themselves according to quantum reference frame theory.

Very good point, I think that the Geiger counter or some particle interaction before or even the decay itself would already have collapsed the wavefunction, independent of the observer, regardless of human or not.
