Latte Day + Día del Latte [Eng+Spa]
This Sunday, February 11, has been a calm and peaceful day. It was a day without major changes in my usual #life. It is already night, and we will have to sleep soon, because tomorrow the work week begins, and I must attend to several tasks on the street in this week that begins. So I'll try to keep this record of my day pretty concise.
For this, I am going to go directly to comment on the #History anniversary that I chose for today, which is one that is related to #cooking, and although it is not within the field of #food, it is within the topic of hot #drinks. It is a recently created celebration date, but very interesting, since it is dedicated to celebrating a particular preparation of coffee. Today is 'Latte Day'.

Latte is a type of #coffee preparation that has strong Italian roots, it is considered a version that is born from the variation of the Cappuccino preparation. But, I read that despite these obvious roots, his birth (and the development of his 'Latte Art') was in the United States. El Latte es un tipo de preparación de #cafe que tiene fuertes raíces italianas, se le considera una versión que nace de la variación de la preparación del Capuchino. Pero, leí que a pesar de estas raíces obvias, su nacimiento (y el desarrollo de su ‘Arte Latte’) fue en Estados Unidos. Parece que la comunidad italo-norteamericana de New York fue la responsable de todo esto, al menos en un inicio.

I like this type of coffee. By the way, in #Venezuela, we used to simply call it 'Café con Leche' (coffee with milk), but in more recent times I have seen that there are more people giving it its original international name. It seems fine to me, even though in some cases, there are those who prefer to call it this way out of pure snobbery (personal smile).

Me gusta este tipo de café. Por cierto, en #Venezuela, le solíamos llamar simplemente ‘Café con Leche’, pero en tiempos más recientes he visto que hay más gente dándole su nombre internacional original. Me parece bien, a pesar de que en algunos casos, hay quien prefiere llamarlo de esta manera por puro esnobismo (sonrisa personal).

I support all versions of coffee I know.
I like Latte for daily consumption, hot is good, and cold is refreshing.
I also like cappuccino, with a good amount of milk foam.
And finally, I love Mocha coffee, with that great touch of chocolate.
Coffee is good, chocolate is good, and combining them gently with milk… is just great :)

I prefer to drink Latte coffee. It's the milder version. Espresso or cappuccino seems stronger to me. I didn't know that espresso is put there too!

In reality, the Latte is very similar, in its recipe, to the cappuccino, but it changes the proportions by increasing the milk and the amount of water, with respect to the grams of coffee.
I also enjoy latte more frequently than other versions of coffee, in my country it is one of the most popular preparations.
Although I admit that, from time to time, I like to have a mocha coffee, for the added chocolate, and sometimes a cappuccino.

mocha coffee! I think I haven't heard the name :)
Mocha (or Moka) is coffee that combines milk, chocolate, and espresso.
It is originally from Ethiopia, but it became popular in Europe during the 20th century, and from there it has spread its popularity to other parts of the world, I think that was after World War II.
