(Humor) EGGS + HUEVOS [Eng+Spa]
After years of marriage, a woman decides to redecorate the bedroom and finds 10,000 in cash and 5 eggs in a basket at the back of her husband's closet.
Intrigued, she rushes to the living room and loudly asks her husband about these things.
He puts the newspaper down, takes a breath, smiles, and replies:
"For the last 5 years together, every time you made me angry, I put an egg at the back of the closet, that's all".
The wife blushes and is pleased, since there were only 5 eggs.
With a sweet tone and sparkling eyes, she asks again:
"And the 10,000?"
The husband, putting the newspaper down again and looking at her over the top of his glasses, replies:
"Every time I fill a egg carton: I sell them!"

Intrigada, va presurosa a la sala, y a viva voz pregunta al marido sobre esas cosas.
Él, apartando el periódico, toma aire, sonríe y responde:
- Durante los últimos 5 años juntos, cada vez que me hiciste enojar, guardé un huevo en el fondo del closet, eso es todo.
La esposa sé sonroja y queda contenta, ya que sólo había 5 huevos.
Con tono meloso y mirada brillante, vuelve a preguntar:
- ¿ Y los 10,000?
El marido, bajando el periódico de nuevo y mirándola por encima de los lentes, le respondió:
- Cada que completo un cartón de huevos ¡Los vendo!

Ahora la señora no solo sabe cuántas veces lo ha hecho enfadar, sino también que su esposo tiene un pequeño negocio secreto de huevos.

No estoy seguro de que a la señora le guste saber que ha enfadado con tanta frecuencia a su esposo.
Yo recuerdo un caso en que el señor tomó la costumbre de que cada vez que se enfadaba con la esposa iba a la cocina y tomaba un vaso de agua, era como un ritual para darse tiempo de calmar la boca y no soltar una cosa que causara más problemas, como un freno temporal para poder pensar un poco mejor. También recuerdo una señora que cuando se enfadaba con el esposo, trataba de concentrarse en la respiración y regularla como por unos 30 segundos para calmar un poco y poder hablar de manera más ecuánime.
En todos los casos, eran mecanismos diseñados para aligerar la convivencia, pues nunca es cosa sencilla y es normal que las parejas tengan algunas fricciones. El tema es ver como las manejan y como regulan la energía explosiva para poder crecer juntos.
