Greetings, everyone #motherhood, my pleasure to share with you the goodness of parenting. Don't be surprised that "I am yet to be a mother". For a good number of years that I have been around mothers, I got to understand what motherhood is all about.

Parenting is the responsibility of the mother and father. This responsibility is accompanied by ups and downs. The pains during pregnancy, labor, and the travailing time. All the good and bad, I summed up to "the goodness of parenting".

The goodness of parenting is a profound experience that brings numerous benefits and blessings to parents, who have this sense of purpose in taking care of and raising their children in a Godly way. Your children are divine seeds and a ministry God has called both parents to train them.

Furthermore, having children is a good-news that offers opportunities for personal growth, lessons unfold, and goodness follows when you can shape their spiritual values, social skills, well-being, and resilience, definitely the goodness, mercy, favor, and blessings of the lord will follow you all the days of your life and you will be crowded with respect and honor.

Parenting is a call to responsibility and every parent must undertake that call with faithfulness, humility, and obedience.

Yesterday, I spoke with a friend of mine, who got married early last year, now a mother. A young, pretty, and vibrant girl. I asked her, how her marriage going, and she said before her husband got her attention that he received slaps, both of us boosted into laughter, she responded to my question that her marriage is moving well with a huge responsibility. I added, "Marriage is a responsibility and parenting is a responsibility". I also asked her about her first son, and she said something about her experiences during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, that it wasn't an easy journey but God saw her through.

She also said that "parenting is a powerful force" especially when it comes to instilling values in a child, shaping self-esteem, setting the foundations of their future, and genuine relationships with parents and others, outside the home. It's the greatest of them.

Nevertheless, I have noticed, that raising children is not a one-sided business. It is done that way, probably the children might have challenges in many ways about marriage when they grow up. The responsibility should be on both parents. This is where your children will develop spiritual growth and intellectual growth, and the parents will experience the goodness, and verisimilitude of marriage and parenting.

Overall, the journey of parenthood often brings satisfaction, fulfilling God's purpose(fulfillment), joy, enthusiasm, and a chance to influence children positively.

I am not a mother but I am a friend to many mothers. My sweet mother first, I learned a lot from her. God bless her for bringing a damsel like me to the world.
