I'm happy and blessed to be in the new covenant that the Lord Jesus Christ had make. We are no longer in the old covenant made by human hands or by animal's blood but by the blood of Jesus Christ, who died, buried, and resurrected for us.

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

No more shedding of goat blood for the remission of sin. Looking back at the Old Testament bible, you will see how goats, calves, and bulls were used in the atonement of people's sins.

Looking into the scripture again.

Hebrews 9:1-28

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Hebrews 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Hebrews 9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
Hebrews 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Hebrews 9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Hebrews 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

It is a long reading of scripture, you can read it to the end using your bible.
This was a covenant made with Abraham. Now is our time. The covenant we have with God is similar to a marriage covenant, yet far more powerful. This means that Jesus wants a genuine relationship with every one of us. That's the reason he came and died and shed the precious blood, that we couldn't afford. He came pricelessly to supersede the blood of the goats and bulls. When you connect with the covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ, every other evil foundation in your family, and in your life will be broken.

A few things about the efficacy of the blood of the new covenant.

• The blood of the new covenant of Jesus provides remission of sin.

• The blood of the new covenant of Jesus heals us and restores us.

• The blood of the new covenant of Jesus Christ brings justification.

• The blood of the new covenant of Jesus gives us access to his presence to obtain favor, mercy, and blessings.

• The blood of the new covenant brings protection over our lives.

• The blood of the new covenant provides peace and joy in our hearts.

Furthermore, there are many things the blood of the new covenant can do in our lives. A total change of our behavior as we key into this covenant of our lord Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, Jesus Christ wants us to be closer to him than ever before. Our lives are in His hands, and we can never fail as we come into this covenant with him.

Keep on serving Him wholeheartedly and He will make your ways prosperous.
