What does women's empowerment mean to me?

Well, to me women's empowerment means promoting gender equality and those things that would limit women's influence in society, marriage, politics, and the economic spheres. We need the enhancement of our rights and the opportunities for women to exercise their power and have control over the phase of our lives without restrictions. The reason they are emphasizing the need for women's empowerment is because they are still in bondage because of ideology.

Moreover, there is a leverage today than that of years back. I could vividly recall how my grandparents used to share their life stories with us. Telling how women were deprived of their rights, especially going to school wasn't in women's calendar, having a white-collar job as a woman was a big problem. By then, women were restricted from many things, specifically if the work was attached to money. There is every tendency that it might be a throwback.

Therefore, this phrase has been re-emphasized since to voice to the world that our women need. We need our rights as women, we want our voices to be heard in all nations.

Equality is what we need in our endeavor. Women should be given a place in politics, in the same way respect is accorded to men in the same in women.

Overall, women are important vessels and they are embedded with blessings that no one can count on.

It is high time we treat our women with a love of equality.
