Both are to blame
Hello, everyone!
Welcome to the new week’s featured contest.
My response to this contest is that inventors usually have good intentions when creating things, they are meant to exist for the benefit of humanity and to aid our survival. In every creative ability, there is always a good reason behind it.

However, human beings are very funny; we like trying things that were not meant to be altered or misused.
Let me cite an example from my own experience with herbs. One day, when I was ill, my mother, who knows how to prescribe natural herbal medicine, prepared some herbs for me to take as an enema. She went into the bush and uprooted some plants for me to pound. To her, it was safe for me to use them because of my capacity and strength. But in my little mind, the quantity seemed too small, not knowing that the herbs were very strong despite their size.
So, I dropped the ones she brought for me and went back into the bush to get more of the same herbs to add to them. I pounded everything, mixed it with water, and wrung it out for filtration. After the necessary process, I took the enema. Unfortunately, the result was terrible, I could not bear it. My condition worsened, and my parents’ attention was drawn immediately. Heat rose to my head, fever set in, and I lay helplessly on the bed. At this point, my mother was the inventor, and she was not to be blamed. My own invention almost killed me 😂. My father started blaming my mother for introducing the medicinal plants to me, and he also scolded me for going the extra mile by adding more herbs, which nearly cost me my life.
Moreover, everything created has a specific purpose, but humans often misuse things or turn them to work against themselves. In the end, this misuse may result in either good or bad effects, many of which are not appropriate for health.
Aside from drugs, other things were created to make life easier for humanity, yet they are sometimes used as harmful instruments or materials to injure others, something they were never created for.
What I have noticed in life is that people always want to experiment or create imitations of original products. For instance, when I went to buy my bathing soap, “Extract,” the original soap is made in China, while fake ones are produced locally in Nigeria.
The fake version had a nice fragrance, but unfortunately, I bought it, and it burned my face. Since then, I have not used Extract soap again.
Therefore, we should maintain the original purpose of things that are created to achieve the best results. No one should manipulate creations in ways that cause harm or wickedness to themselves or others. In this case, both the inventor and the invention may be blamed, especially the invention, because if the original had not been made, the imitation would not have existed.
