AI translation and human languages

Hello valiant people.

To start with, AI in this age we are in is not a barrier for people to learn new languages. It's good that AI is good at translating languages because not everyone is interested in learning other new languages, and it could be good for writers who write in English and AI translates into another language for easy accessibility.

Is there a need to learn new languages as an individual?

Definitely, there is a need if you are interested in expressing yourself in another language and would want to explore other countries, and if you don't want to be stranded, you have to learn that language. AI is doing its work, and an individual should know the need to learn the language before proceeding. And for you to learn this language, it will create an opportunity for you, and you can actually go far because of speaking different languages.

With software and technology, two people can speak different languages while understanding each other perfectly.

In this era of technology and software, two people can get involved in a conversation, understanding each other through true language used.

Nevertheless, it's not a bad trend at all. AI is helping us to make our work easier and simpler.

For instance, I'm in the land of Kaduna State. I could recall the day I came newly as a youth corper and the following day, I stepped out to board a tricycle to my PPA and I found one, this driver was blowing me with the Hausa language and I was speechless, thank God one man who understood Hausa well interpreted it for me and that was how I escaped and boarded the tricycle to my PPA. Any land you are not familiar with, there must be a language that wouldn't let you flow well with people in order to have a good relationship with people. I made up my mind to learn the language before I leave, but I couldn't learn, maybe because I didn't have an interest in it.

However, I have seen a man from Akwa Ibom, who speaks English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Calabar, Efik, and Ibibio. I had a one-on-one conversation with him, and I asked how he learned to the point of being fluent in it. He said he travels a lot, and he was willing to learn and communicate with others too. And anywhere he travels to within the State, he is always free to adapt to his new environment, and the freedom to express himself.

Does it water down the beauty of the language?

It doesn't at all water down the beauty of the language, but it enhances the beauty and makes it easier for people to learn faster instead of paying a huge amount of money for people to teach manually. Language itself is a beauty that beautifies the culture of people, making it unique and outstanding in every culture.

Therefore, AI is doing the work of translating languages, which is a good development, and individuals who are willing to learn new languages are free and expressive.

Amazing insight! 🌟 AI makes communication easy, but the real magic is in learning languages yourself—exploring, connecting, and expressing freely. Your examples make this so inspiring! ✨

Thank you very much. Learning languages ourselves would help us explore and express ourselves well.
