I also read rich dad poor dad. Although I don't agree with all the lessons of the book but it's a good one to reapproach life from a different perspective and build our persona.

And I totally understand what you are trying to say. We don't have to follow all the instructions in the self-help genre only the points that resonate with us and implement in our life.
