Ford v Ferrari (2019) - One of my Favorite Movies Around a Big Event.

I wouldn't lie, I usually skip movies on sports, boxing, competitions, etc because the plot somehow feels the same. From their struggle to success, and with some drama and romance those movies usually end.

But this one, Ford v Ferrari seems much more thrilling than that.

Probably because the name of the two top automobile brands was on it. Or probably the cast - Christian Bale & Matt Damon make this different from the rest of the car movies.

When I saw this contest's title, this one movie came to my mind at first. Because this movie revolves around one of the most thrilling races in history. I love how the story builds up and not just shows cars and different races but the behind story of the race.

I have never attended any race in my life and there's no possible opportunity till now that I would be in the future. But if you ask me, if would I join to be an audience of such a race; my answer would be a loud and clear Yes!

Why do I like the movie?

• The main cast is what made me watch this film. Christian Bale & Matt Damon both did so well in their character, especially I have to give a point more to Christian Bale; he was superb in his character.

• There's no so-called fighting, or blood shredding in this film but the thrill, you will feel it under your skin. The story build-up is something else, the meeting between the big guys of the brands, the friendship between the two major characters, the punch lines; everything makes it worth watching.

• Seeing one company trying to take over another one, and understanding the historical rivalry, the sound effects, and the cinematography was satisfying.

• Last but not the least, I have to say I enjoyed seeing the relationship between the father Christian Bale with his son. How he teaches him about the race and makes him understand the brand value, etc was a good touch to the movie.

Now, if you are looking for something relaxing, and easy to watch on a big event movie then this might not be for you. Because the corporate politics and the sad ending would not make you feel satisfied.

I'm not giving any spoilers but I have to say, the risk-taking, the resilience, the hunger for success that is sown in the movie is something to learn. Even after all of this, there's no guarantee but what is important is the ability to say just like Christian Bale 'I'm Happy' at the end of our race.

As I have said earlier, this movie may not go with your interest and you may feel it's a bit complicated to understand the story build-up of this movie. But one thing I can guarantee you, the thrilling and the race scenes in this film are totally worth watching.

I would personally rate this 8/10. The IMDb rating is 8.1/10 and it got 92% Rotten Tomatoes. By the rating, you can guess how good the film is.

If I have to say one line about this film then I would go with -

Good story build-up, fine acting, pleasing cinematography, the best racing scenes, and a true story are what make it film extraordinary.
