I am delighted to see you provoking a discussion around the theme of objectivity. It seems we now live in a world where objectivity has no relevance to many people, perhaps even most. They believe the entire human experience is a subjective one, it is not.

I fully accept that a large part of our experience is indeed subjective but certainly not all of it. In our world today people have become too self absorbed and arrogant claiming 'everything is subjective' as their excuse. However, it is just that - an excuse.

People use subjectivity to immerse themselves in a world that is all about them and their feelings, it all adds to the erosion of community and society, as if society doesn't exist but it does.

I am pleased we have thinkers like you my friend @bleujay in our Hive community.
